So it is very clearly not “actually” day 2, however it is my second post on this blog, so for all intensive purposes this will be Day Two.

To update anyone who cares to know, I have finally submitted my coverletter and resume to my Job Search Adviser through the company I did my TESOL course with (Oxford Seminars).  Hopefully this will help me out in my search and I will soon start receiving job offers.

Now to finish the online portion of my course and get all of the other things sorted out.

You mean your TESL?

I would look for a program that certifies you as TESL/TEFL/TEFOL. Some schools prefer one certification over the other, so saying that you are certified to teach all three will cover the most bases.

The one in the book how to learn any language quickly easily inexpensively and on your own by Barry Farber. A quick google search gets you the pdf, and I’m on my phone so i can’t embed links, anyways.

Anyways I’m going through the Modern Mandarin Chinese Grammar and I’m on chapter three now. The guide says 5 chapters before doing the rest but i think i want to do more than that before I dive into the rest. There’s only a little I’m not understanding but hopefully that’ll clear up too.

There’s an article on middle kingdom life about adjusting and it says the language barrier is the hardest. Which is probably true.
