Had a dream where, for some reason I didn't get to learn, OgCale and his family were on a train. So were Rok Soo and many more characters.
I remember that, while his family was in a cabin, OgCale was alone in another cabin. Most people were sharing with others, but he had a whole cabin for himself and I don't know why was that (like, inside the dream, bc the reason my brain put him alone may have to do with how apart of everyone else he is and his lack of mutual bonds. Bro is, in a certain way, very distant, ok?).
And then some asshole started making up problems with their cabin and involving a random family in other cabin in it and in general putting the staff in a hard position. So, OgCale, being the good person he pretends not to be, gave some random excuse and let his cabin free (idk how trains work and if you can even do that, never been in one + it was a dream, logic is meh) and solving the issue. He was planning to go to the one where his family was in, which was all the way to the other extreme of where his was (I'm starting to think that they may have been a mistake when they were buying the tickets bc I doubt they would do that on purpose).
Except someone almost dropped a teapot on him on his way there, which he successfully avoided, but then a kid tripped and sent flying a whole piece of cake (plate and everything) right at him (which he didn't avoid, for some reason). And Alberu was right there, so he went like 'yeah I should probably do something before things escalate'. Which actually saved OgCale the problem of having to think on a way to act in character for his trash persona and simultaneously not scare this kid who seemed to be about to cry. Pretend he didn't like this pants? Blame it on a bad designed carpet? Pretend to be so sleep deprived he can't bother to waste more energy? Of course this is what happens the day he doesn't have even an empty bottle of alcohol at hand.
So Alberu, thinking he's defusing a situation (why does he put himself on this situations), offers him (very fake friendly and practically dragging him there) to pass to his cabin to change clothes. And somehow that resulted on them spending most of the travel together.
At some point Tasha came back from doing... whatever she was doing, and found her nephew and the infamous young master Cale sitting side to side watching Star Vs The Forces of Evil in a laptop.
Anyways, I remember that the only person who seemed to think OgCale was fine since the beginning (besides Lily and Bassen) was Rok Soo. Everyone else was kinda freaked out about it because Rok Soo seemed way too relaxed with him and it made no sense to them. And when they asked, Rok Soo was like "he's nice... With me." But he had no idea why.
And then the rest noticed that what Rok Soo said is true. OgCale treated Rok Soo weirdly nice. Not as most people would think of friendly, but in a really casually nice way.
Only to the end someone decides to ask OgCale himself about the reason behind that and--
"At first it was because he reminds me of a sad wet cat. Then I realized we're probably related and, at difference from other relatives, he's fine."
"Kinda crazy, loathes divinity, has an inclination for destroying things and the same specific eye color as me. Sounds exactly like mom's family."
And later it turned out he was right and they really were distant cousins.
Other random things that happened in my dream:
• Lily, Bassen and OgCale spent some time together like normal (ish) siblings. Including doing stuff like:
-commenting on what the reasons of random strangers to travel could be, making whole backstories and increasingly more dramatic plots. At some point someone's grandma joined them.
-one of them singing whatever song passed by their head and all them ending up joining, only to realize later that the three of them now have it stuck in their heads.
-OgCale accidentally scaring them once so bad they fell from their seats. He really didn't mean to. (That's why I said normal-ish. Average siblings would do it on purpose.)
•Choi Han: I thought Alberu and us were also friends.
Choi Han: Well, you never see him being like that *signals at Alberu and OgCale cuddling and laughing in a corner* around us.
Rosalyn: *snorts* Choi Han. Alberu is like that because he doesn't want him to be just his friend.
Choi Han: *calculating all the angles he is missing*
Lock, genuinely happy for him: Oh, he wants to be best friends then?
Choi Han: Oh my fucking ancestors. Alberu is gay.
Rosalyn: So gay. He looks like he'd kneel just to be closer to him.
Lock: What? Oh. Ohhhh. He is in love, then?
Choi Jung Soo: Who is in love?
Choi Han: Alberu with Rok Soo-nim's cousin.
Rosalyn: doesn't he always tells you to call him hyung? if they get married, how are you going to call him?
Rok Soo: with a ouija board.
•OgCale yelling he is writing gay fanfiction, no explanation given. It was mostly Tomco fluff fics and a single really long fic of some other fandom that was basically him using his own experiences to write sort of spy work, political intrigue and mysteries. The last one is really popular even outside its fandom. Rok Soo was reading it next to him.
•After they arrive at their destiny, Alberu takes OgCale on a date. Then proceeds to forget telling him it's a date. It was fine. OgCale realized.
