The orphan wolf boy? I'll get him and his young siblings to train very hard in my territory because well, why not. The runaway princess? I'll act like I don't know her identity because formalities are annoying, totally not to make her comfortable, also let's rope Choi Han and Lock into helping her get her revenge on the noble who tried to assassinate her. The quarter dark elf crown prince? Oh of course I'm going to give him dead mana so he can keep working harder for the kingdom. Blackmail him?
