During a battle, she gets knocked down by one of Doflamingo's goons, shattering one of her necklaces. Her glare sharpens as she clutches the pendant. Law looms over her, making sure she isnt hurt before she looks up at him, "I want his heart." Law pauses for only a second before smirking, "As you wish"

‘Seventy two hours, seventy two none stop hours without a lick of sleep ,food or water. Foolish, but this was a delicate matter, scorched nerves and charred bones inducing organ failure of not one ,but half of fire fist Ace’s bodily functions. It was like putting together a jigsaw puzzle, only he wasn't given all the correct pieces. Forced to carve and cut his own pieces in a desperate effort to complete the puzzle. Even after learning Ace’s blood type didn't make the task easier. At the moment the only reason the younger pirate was still alive was due to Penguin manually keeping Ace’s heart pumping, and the oxygen forced to his brain, that and a shit ton of fucking luck. Law prided himself in his abilities, he loved a challenge, but this was damn near impossible. The probability for survival was near zero, he knew Bepo wanted him to stop before he land himself in a bed alongside fire fist, but there was a reason Portgas hadn't flatlined again in the last two hours. A reason his brain was still alive. And a reason his devil fruit hadn't been reincarnated...’

And the fact that their bickering is kinda a un intentional intimidation tactic too
