Taln swore a different oath than all the other Heralds. They all swore to uphold the Oathpact for Honor, but Taln swore it for the people of Roshar. Sometimes i laugh at just how funny it is that Taln tried to kill cultivation. I want to know why in the world he would try and how close he got to actually succeeding. It makes me laugh even more that when choosing a 10th herald, Nale nominates him and everyone agrees with very little push back.
God I bet Nale and Taln’s friendship is going to actually kill me at how wholesome it’s going to be in arc 2.
