Just realized during the honorbearer fight with Nightblood and Szeth, Nightblood was chipping the honorblades. Imagine the when Heralds finally return and they summon their glorious swords gifted to them by God only to find they are now chipped and scratched.

Is it just me or did anyone else think Shalash liked Taln romantically? When Ash was like Taln is the brother I never had, I was like wait what!? Taln got brother zoned?
To be fair, we never learn how Taln felt about Ash. They could just be friends. But come on! I refuse to believe the Heralds spent thousands of year together and not once has two them decided to fuck.

The moment when Taln finally stands up and Shalash speaks aloud the reason is so grand, especially in the light of the immense destruction they cause after that to hold the city for an extra day.
