The Shinovar plot in Wind & Truth really does feel like a video game. They have to win boss battles at all the monasteries with therapy cut scenes in between.
Also the Pursuer is so Bowser coded. Gotta jump on him three times.
Ever since my most recent reread of WaT, something I cannot get over is:
Taln swore a different oath than all the other Heralds. They all swore to uphold the Oathpact for Honor, but Taln swore it for the people of Roshar. I don't know if this is significant or just a coincidence, but I am going absolutely feral over the fact that the only one who never broke was the only one who didn't swear by a deity who proved to be deeply flawed.
Gavilar is so fucking stupid saying the sun could love the stars but never as an equal about Navani. Bitch the sun is also a star. This is why you died.

::: MINOR SPOILERS for Wind and Truth:::: Happy (belated) New Year to all of you here on Tumblr! May Connection and Fortune favor us all! ✨ While reading Wind and Truth I really enjoyed their parts. Somehow with that came a feeling that I wanted to express in an illustration for my New Years post ... something like levity, perhaps hope? It feels like we all need it. So here is the Shinovar roadtrip party not being miserable. 😅
