… a Tale of Physics, Lust and Greed The year is 2044. Housed in a secret complex beneath the eastern Arizona desert, a consortium of governments and corporations have undertaken a program on the scale of the Manhattan Project to bludgeon the laws of physics into submission and make time travel a reality. As the project evolves into a clash between science and corporate greed, conflicts escalate. Those contributing the funding are mostly interested in manipulating time travel for profit, and will stop at nothing, including murder, to achieve their goals. Science fiction with plenty of laugh out loud moments! Those are the first things that come to mind when I think about this book! This is a book that everyone at one point and time is going to enjoy! It's a fast, fun read! The characters are well developed and though it takes place in the future the author has done a great job blending the present in with what it may be like in the future! It's a top-secret mission about the first time-travelers! What sci-fi lover wouldn't want to read this! What I’m supposed to be doing this week - Launching the amazing signature program and putting plans in place to start it in a couple of weeks. What I’ve decided to do instead- take the time for me to rest after last weeks event and put the effort into Mums In The Groove community building and the Brew @ Two. Yes making a living is important Cos ya know we need to eat & I’d quite like a holiday at some point. However what I’m doing right now building a community, chatting to amazing women on the brew at two show and spreading my mission as far as I can is what is filling my heart. My signature program will open its door this week. But we are not starting until September. I mean I’ve just spent a week trying to simplify your summer holidays (if you’ve been on the summer Groove.) So I’ll be banging the drum for Grind to Groove Over the coming weeks because I know it’s truly going to make a difference to your life but we are not starting until after the summer holidays are over. I've started taking more breaks during my hikes lately. One, because I am never in a hurry to do anything anymore which is such a relief. Two, because I can observe more when I am still. Three, because it is beautiful. Today I stopped to watch a deer run across the trail and into the woods, again later to climb into a tree and examine bark and moss, to watch birds, and to stop at bridges and water banks to look for frogs. I stopped to just stop. 🧘‍♀️ When we are always in a hurry to get to the destination, we miss the whole journey which is where we often spend the majority of our quiet time. So.... Slow down. Take a breath. Pause. What do you notice?
