Mystery used to not be… a mystery

He lived not long ago, and when he was alive he was SO EXTRAVERTED

Naturally he was confident and not afraid to show his true self, but people did not see that side of him, they only saw him being annoying and loud

He struggled with focusing in class and in life because he was too busy talking to people.

His parents were people who cared a LOT about grades and school, and since he did not pay attention they were annoyed at his progress.

Mystery did not care and still was himself, but people thought he was intense and "too much" (Zoey reference?)

So he was forced to study a LOT so that drained him since that takes him away from the thing he loves most, talking.

Since he was away from school, studying at home to catch up (his parents isolated him from other people so he would not get distracted) people at school slowly forgot about him. And some thought it was a relief he was not there as he would constantly talk about everything, he shared his deepest secrets and never hid himself away.

Slowly, all of this isolation did a number to him and he slowly became drained of his true self, the one thing he could express.

When he finally caught up he got back to school but no one cared that he was back, in fact they did not even expect him being back.

So, with no one talking to him he couldn't show his true self to anyone anymore.

He was lonely and loneliness turns into guilt then depression

After this, his life only consisted of studying and that was it.

He got so depressed holed up in his room that Gwi-Ma came to him after that, preying on him.

He came with a deal and a promise for Mystery, promising him with a lifetime of being quiet, so people will like him.

He had no choice but to take the deal, because he was desperate.

Everyone started liking him more when he was quiet and hid himself, and he could also concentrate more.

But he always felt restrained in a way, he psychically could NOT be himself anymore. An behind that big mop of hair, is restraint and the urge to break free.

So here he is, forced to obey and be quiet, the opposite of what he used to be: rebellious and loud.

"A broken soul trapped in the nastiest shell"

Literally that line.

Anyways now here we are.
