The first time i saw that Projectionist desing(? I though that the floor broke and they got stuck in a bunch of cables.

Stagehand hangs from the ceiling, most definitely with a lot of cables and ink, and maybe more equipment. I hope to draw them properly one day if I get time, but for now the best comparison I can give you is GLaDOS from the Portal series

Funny enough, I do have a drawing of the Projectionist stuck after a floor collapsing and his cables tangled in the debris, based on a chapter in Team Sillyvision
