Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined and creamy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the mini M&M's and chocolate chips, distributing them evenly throughout the cookie dough. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving some space between each cookie. Bake in the preheated oven for about 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.
