My word for 2020 is soften; so far this has meant letting go of how things โhave been doneโ and slowing downโlots and lots of slowing down. โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ Weekends are reserved for quiet and uncomplicated mornings, checking in with my heart and soul. Iโm rediscovering what itโs like to have time and space while doing my best to leave room. You see, with a schedule that has been jam packed for years, I began to feel rigid and unwilling to compromise. The first step in softening was to let go of the unrelenting pressure to always be doing something outwardly productive. โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ Secondly, Iโm taking my time in the mornings. Setting my alarm 30 minutes early so I donโt have to rush. I can breathe first thing in the morning. I can connect and tune in. As a by product, Iโm feeling so much more present throughout the days. So, my friends, hereโs to a full year of softening, listening without reaction, and creating space. ๐ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ ๐ธ: @porch_lit_photography โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ โ #yogagirl #yogaplay #outdooryoga #positivevibesonly #yogastrong #yogaforall #ybp #fitfam #yogabypaige #strongwomen #yogateacher #thesweatlife #beagoddess #superattractor #aloyoga #oaklandyoga #yoga #yogamedicine #soften #intentionalliving (at San Francisco, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7bUVaanqw8/?igshid=1cqa6sd66yw6v
