Sanctuary! (Please think of Horror from the Pagemaster. He's part of the reason for the title!)

Sanctuary is in my drafts on AO3 now, which means I'm really close to posting the first chapter! It's so exciting!

This fic is my dragon au! There are dragons galore here! (it's also the one I'm writing for @amethystviolist birthday)

Here's a bit of the premise:

Dragons are intelligent and heavily respected by all people of Middle Earth. There are some dragons, though no one knows why, who find a particular person and choose to bond with them. The bond grants the person the ability to understand their dragon. Thorin was claimed by his dragon long before Smaug (a dragon who lost his bonded person and started to go insane) came to the mountain and had to be fought off.

But after a lot goes wrong, Thorin must flee with his dragon and find somewhere safe to hide and recover. What better place than a dragon sanctuary? Only, there's no better place in all of Ea than the Shire if rest and relaxation with your dragon is what you're looking for!

Fíli x Ori - To distract

Ori was mesmerised and paralysed by the pure blue light shining from Fíli’s sparkling eyes akin to a stinging fly inexorably drawn to the deadly contraptions hung on the rafters on sweltering summer eves. Fíli’s affectionate greeting, delivered in mellow, thrumming accents, sent shivers of delight down his spine. He would not let the prince see that his coat had been mended once too often to be thoroughly presentable or expose any of his other flaws to benevolent scrutiny. Plunging forward as one diving to salvation, Ori threw his arms around Fíli’s sturdy neck, accepting his amused, tender kiss gracelessly.

I am usually very possessive when it comes to Ori lol...but, here we go, Ori x Fíli...

The second collaboration I did for this year’s @tolkienrsb with the wonderful @sunnyrosewritesstuff! The fic will be about Thorin learning how to be an uncle to a little Fili and Kili- yay fluff! I’ve loved what I read so far, and I can’t wait to see the entire fic completed.

Hello! It’s been a while since I draw something, so I wanted to do a little thing for @sunnyrosewritesstuff I’m just so into the story of reverse werewolf Bilbo that I can’t help and draw his wolf version again. I want to draw him in his human form with his tail and ears, so maybe that would be my next update.

GOD this song is just so so perfect for them - it shows the pining and sacrifices and misunderstandings that make up their relationship but ends on a happy and content note (which is how I end the show, fuck you Moftiss)

Ok now for Nick and Charlie. Guh the Heartstopper soundtrack is so so perfect already, it’s hard to add to it (but I totally did haha).

Not only is this song a BOP, but it fully addresses Charlie’s feelings of anxiety and overthinking (and Nick’s also). The whole song is them finding love and growing together it’s just perfect. I can’t wait for s02 so I can add more awesome tunes to the collection : )
