🍉 Do you prefer to write short fics or long fics? Multichaptered works or single ones? Why?

Depends on the fandom (my standard answer). But to be fair, I used to write longfics in the Witcher fandom, and I loved it, but nowadays, my attention span only lets me do short works. Now, 10,000 words is really long to me.

🍓 What’s a fic you’ve written you feel is underrated?

M...most of them? 😂 But yeah, I'll typically say "What if", a Lambert/Aiden story.

🍌 In your opinion, what’s the funniest joke/reference/pun you’ve made in a fic?

Not a funny one, I guess, but in one BuckTommy fic I hid a whole line from my favorite German musical, and it absolutely made no sense when the character was talking this way.

🐵 - What's the weirdest thing you've written and why did you write it?

This is quite possibly the hardest question you could have asked me...I love writing weird and unsettling things.

There's quite a few that are really weird...but I guess I could pick one, lol. One of my favourites, though it is not at all popular, is Eternity, which is an Izumo/Shiemi Blue Exorcist fic where Izumo is trapped in a strange reality; a self-punishment for how she treated Shiemi with rudeness and disdain. It's a whumptober fic I wrote years ago, so you know it goes all in with the despair :D

I wrote it because...I felt like it. Idk. There's really not another answer. lol

🪱 - What is your dumbest piece of writing advice that actually works?

When I get super stuck, sometimes my brain just goes *blank* and it feels like an electric shock going through my head, like how you can get from static electricity. When that happens, I just key smash for a few seconds and as soon as I feel something come to me, I erase the key smash and continue writing. I do not know if that would work for anyone but me, though, so idk if it's actually advice.

🐠 - Do you enjoy killing characters?

Who, me? Me? Enjoy? Killing characters???

Death is something I've had to face a lot through work and my personal life, so it influences a lot of things I write. It can be fun to torment the characters, and it sort of serves as an outlet.

Barton's Halfway House for Ex-brainwashed Assassins - this is actually a series but I am obsessed with it, it lives rent free in my brain at all times! "Love is a place you can live. You build it yourself." AKA what if Clint's secret family on the farm was actually Bucky Barnes and their adopted murder children

Social Graces - slow burn except they are having sex the entire time. Clint accidentally becomes a hooker.

Storms Within, Bridges Rebuilt - in-denial Jedi Bucky Barnes mentors Luke Skywalker in the ways of the force. Oh and he's basically common law married to a notorious smuggler, Clint Barton

If You Were A Mythical Thing - baby!! werewolves!!! strange courting rituals! The neighbor is hot like burning! You know, just the usual things

12. Are there any tropes you used to dislike but have grown on you?

hmm i know there are a lot but i’m struggling to think of too many. i’m definitely less anti-omegaverse than i used to be; i wouldn’t say i like it overall but there are specific scenarios/characterizations in which i enjoy it! also age gap—i’m still a bit conservative with it/don’t enjoy the really big ones but my tolerance has def gone up.

23. What's a trope, AU, or concept you've never written, but would like to?

ooh this is a fun one! i think i’d like to write childhood friends to lovers? i looove reading it but i’ve never written it properly. arguably Not a Crush is in fact childhood friends to lovers but it skips over the “childhood friends” part and goes straight to right before they get together. i’d also quite like to write wolfstar as parents together; i’ve had them as single parents/guardians to teddy or harry before but never them having a baby together. maybe marriage of convenience could be fun too…i could go on forever haha there’s so so many things i want to write!
