1:28:40 Grian logs in, tells everyone in chat “Just so you know, I’m off to play badminton,” then logs out. They decide that this is a clear case of FOMO. Impulse asks if that’s the game with the birdie. False scoffs and corrects “Shuttlecock.” Pearl confirms he’s thinking of the right game. They talk about Badminton for a few minutes. Impulse says that badminton is not really a thing in America; they play pickleball instead. Everyone is baffled. He tries to explain it. Pearl asks if it’s the game with the long stick and a tiny racket on the end ((possibly lacrosse?)) Impulse says no, but that’s it’s very popular.

Ren says it’s a ridiculous name and needs to be changed. Impulse demands to know how they can call something a shuttlecock and think they have the high ground for naming anything. Ren says it’s just mini tennis. He has an idea. Hermitcraft table tennis Olympics, five day round-robin event. They’d sell out a stadium. False and Pearl are deeply skeptical. Impulse thinks they should play basketball. Doc and Mumbo against each other, Impulse vs. Bdubs, etc. Pearl says she wants to play against Skizz. Impulse is very into this idea now. Ren asks diffidently what the rules are. Impulse assures him it’s just regular street ball. Ren has never played basketball. He played NBA Jam on Sega. He asks if he’s allowed to SuperDunk.

Our little group in the elevator just keeps getting smaller... Ryoma is dead and the case was insane! I was investigating for the life of me, and while the investigation was happening, it was up to me to put all the pieces together... I got some new minigames out of it (The Psyche Taxi for one) but couldn't we just have a regular logic dive? Sometimes the fanservice in this game makes me uncomfortable to varying degrees, considering that these characters are supposed to be high schoolers.

Maki and Kaito were the whole reason everyone survived this chapter, I'm sure of it. Without Kaito, Shuichi wouldn't have had the courage to believe in his own detective skills, and without Maki, everyone would've focused on the location of the body rather than the location of the murder. Both of these things would've kept the blame on my lazy queen, Himiko, so that was no good.

Kokichi is a dastardly little rat, given the circumstances. He accused Himiko right off the bat, which was him leading us off course. I can't work out his intentions at all! The only think I know about him is that he'll never tell you the truth, but that's how you know what the truth even is. If something comes out of his mouth, you have to assume either the opposite or something very close to it. He needs to stay far away from Gonta.

Kirumi was our culprit this time around! She was in the suspect pool, but the biggest reason I suspected her was that she had access to the magic setup because she was the one doing the sewing of the curtains. And of course, she's going to know what's going on with the plan because she's in on it. It couldn't have been Himiko because she's too lazy, but it definitely could've been Angie until the pool was investigated.

When it comes to this list, my conviction is wavering slightly, but that's what updates are for! The one thing I can be certain of is that Kokichi is our Komaeda, and he will be our Chapter 5 event. That's just about the only thing I'm certain of, now. I was sure Korekiyo was going to have killed Ryoma, but now I'm more solid in my "he's the chapter 4 double killer" theory. Aside from that? Everything feels all mixed up! None of these guys really feel like killers aside from Shingui, so I'm losing conviction. Sussing out the mastermind is a little too much of a stretch, but I feel like keeping an eye on a couple characters. Kokichi, even though he feels like the red herring, Angie, who's incredibly calm throughout all of this, and her surprise always feels feigned. She's also incredibly charismatic. The final suspect is Tsumugi, just because of how much she calls herself "plain". It's weird how much she insists on her nondescriptness.

When it comes to the monokubs, anything could happen, but I'm certain something is going to go down between Monosuke and Monodam. One of them will be the killer, and the other will be the victim. For right now, who's who is basically a coin flip, so we'll only know next Saturday.

A YouTube poll was held for viewers to choose song #2, between Kenshi Yonezu's IRIS OUT and natori's Propose. IRIS OUT won with 54% out of 567 votes. I voted for Propose... 🥹

Another YouTube poll was held, this time asking viewers if they preferred being indoors or outdoors. Upon indoors receiving 78% votes, Micchan asked viewers to "please go outside."
