i played danganronpa v3 killing harmony on twitch...

Most of it was recap from last week, because while I was playing, the game crashed. I managed to get full friendships, and give better gifts, though. I found a way to get a crazy amount of tokens in the Outlaw Run minigame down in the casino.

I did do one thing differently, though. I can't really get a good grip on what gifts are for who unless they're pretty obvious, so I got what I could with all the tokens I got super easily. >:H (<- My big, smug, doggy dog nose that's all up in your business).

This whole chapter was so sad. Any good slice-of-life we'd managed to get with Himiko and Gonta was doomed the instant he and Kokichi teamed up. At the very beginning of the game, I was terrified that something bad would happen to Gonta if he was around Kokichi too much. Me and my big mouth just had to be right. Me and my big brain just had to recognize patterns.

I investigated all around the mansion. It could've been a really cool world to have fun in and explore if Miu didn't Sayaka Maizono herself. I understand the sentiment of wanting Kokichi gone. I hate that guy, too. But the worst things happen when you allow yourself to stoop so low.

It was snowing... We could've all made snowmen together.

But I hate him even more because he tricked Gonta into killing someone, and then led the case around in circles, throwing suspicion at everyone. He does that usually, but he didn't even have the sense to abandon his plan when he realized he wasn't able to win by himself. Why hurt the most innocent person in this entire game? Truly sinister and vile.

I didn't expect the killer to be Gonta. I didn't expect both monokubs to die. But then again, i did stop caring about them when the soap opera-esque plot got goin on.

Next Time:

I'll be playing Stardew Valley I asked for construction of a shed so we can get cheese and wine production on the way! That way, we can make hella money to upgrade the barns and coops. Then? I can fill an entire, fully-upgraded coop with dinosaurs.

I'll have to work really hard on the farm and in the mines to make it all happen, but if a really lucky day comes along soon, a good long while in the skull caverns during stopped time can't hurt too much, right?

After That?

I'll be playing whatever wins the discord poll! I got some pretty good games I'm especially excited about that are going on the poll this time around. One of them is a Deltarune fangame on itch.io that's a Lighter's Live style rhythm game with all of the songs up until chapter 3 in it, and the point system of the Cat Petterz minigame that was on the newsletter. The other? A tumbr user's econ homework (thank you so much, @arynica I really hope it wins!!!)

I'm still thinking about the end of chapter 1 in Danganronpa... Kaede really killed that guy.. I thought she was framed for YEARS (<- His first time playing DRV3 at all) and when she fessed up to it, I was like "HUH???!!", then, when the POV switch happened, it made me cry because I truly wasn't expecting it. Perhaps chapter 2 will reveal that I am secretly clairvoyant though. 100% correct, 30% of the time, Hagakure style.

Danganronpa's been pretty consistent in its murders, so here's what happened, and here's what I think. 1. - Kill in an unexpected place (DR1: Makoto's bedroom, Sayaka <- Leon) (DR2: Under the table, Byakuya <- Teruteru), (DR3: In the library, Rantaro <- Kaede) 2. - Reveals a serial killer (DR1: Men's room, Chihiro <- Mondo) (DR2: Beach house, Mahiru <- Peko) (DR3: ???, ???, ???) 3. - (This is where they desync a little) (DR1: 5th Floor, Kiyotaka Ishimaru, Hifumi <- Celeste) (DR2: Grape and Strawberry Tower, Nekomaru <- Gundham) (DR3: ) 4. - Double murder (DR1: Sakura <- Sakura) (DR2: Titty Typhoon [music venue], Hiyoko, Ibuki <- Mikan) (DR3: ???, Ryoma, Tsumugi OR Miu <- Korekiyo) 5. - Suicide (In DR1 this was the Mukuro Ikusaba case) (DR2: Monokuma warehouse, Komaeda) (DR3: ???, Either Korekiyo or Kokichi)

If Korekiyo doesn't commit the chapter 4 double murder, then it's up to like, Kirumi or something. She seems like the Peko of this game, so she's gonna kill someone regardless. She might kill that Ryoma dude since he won't shut the fuck up about his life being useless and over.

In the end, we'll have to see when it comes to the motives, and perhaps when each chapter begins, I'll make another guess as to who's the murder and who's the murdered.

I played Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony on Twitch!

Our little group in the elevator just keeps getting smaller... Ryoma is dead and the case was insane! I was investigating for the life of me, and while the investigation was happening, it was up to me to put all the pieces together... I got some new minigames out of it (The Psyche Taxi for one) but couldn't we just have a regular logic dive? Sometimes the fanservice in this game makes me uncomfortable to varying degrees, considering that these characters are supposed to be high schoolers.

Maki and Kaito were the whole reason everyone survived this chapter, I'm sure of it. Without Kaito, Shuichi wouldn't have had the courage to believe in his own detective skills, and without Maki, everyone would've focused on the location of the body rather than the location of the murder. Both of these things would've kept the blame on my lazy queen, Himiko, so that was no good.

Kokichi is a dastardly little rat, given the circumstances. He accused Himiko right off the bat, which was him leading us off course. I can't work out his intentions at all! The only think I know about him is that he'll never tell you the truth, but that's how you know what the truth even is. If something comes out of his mouth, you have to assume either the opposite or something very close to it. He needs to stay far away from Gonta.

Kirumi was our culprit this time around! She was in the suspect pool, but the biggest reason I suspected her was that she had access to the magic setup because she was the one doing the sewing of the curtains. And of course, she's going to know what's going on with the plan because she's in on it. It couldn't have been Himiko because she's too lazy, but it definitely could've been Angie until the pool was investigated.

When it comes to this list, my conviction is wavering slightly, but that's what updates are for! The one thing I can be certain of is that Kokichi is our Komaeda, and he will be our Chapter 5 event. That's just about the only thing I'm certain of, now. I was sure Korekiyo was going to have killed Ryoma, but now I'm more solid in my "he's the chapter 4 double killer" theory. Aside from that? Everything feels all mixed up! None of these guys really feel like killers aside from Shingui, so I'm losing conviction. Sussing out the mastermind is a little too much of a stretch, but I feel like keeping an eye on a couple characters. Kokichi, even though he feels like the red herring, Angie, who's incredibly calm throughout all of this, and her surprise always feels feigned. She's also incredibly charismatic. The final suspect is Tsumugi, just because of how much she calls herself "plain". It's weird how much she insists on her nondescriptness.

When it comes to the monokubs, anything could happen, but I'm certain something is going to go down between Monosuke and Monodam. One of them will be the killer, and the other will be the victim. For right now, who's who is basically a coin flip, so we'll only know next Saturday.

I think I've played enough by now to have solid opinions on most of the characters, but I can only make guesses at the end of the day.

Today, I focused on building friendships! Specifically with Gonta, Kaito, Himiko, and Tenko.

I think Gonta has to be saved from Kokichi or something really bad is going to happen. He's such a sweet boy who's only doing his best to be kind and good to everyone, but he's so trusting that it leads him to put his faith in the worst person he could ever think to be "friends" with.

His love for bugs is so endearing, and I hope to goodness that he remains safe. The way Kokichi leads him around worries me, because I think Kokichi is incredibly intelligent. He's this game's Komaeda, but without an attachment to hope. Kokichi is in it just for the sake of the game, but Gonta is so naive that he can't fathom that people like that exist!! Kokichi is 100% our Suicidal Maniac, and it would take some crazy convincing to change my mind. Kaito is a big sweetheart, and I really would like him to survive. He's the best friend anyone in this killing game could ask for, because he doesn't let his friends stay down. He really is the Luminary of the Stars!

Himiko is the quintessential Girlfailure, and she couldn't be even more adorable if she tried. I hope I get a lot of gifts for her from the Monomono Machine in the school store. The gifting system is kind of obvious, and I'm pretty glad about that, because it means i can give these guys the most successful gifts ever :3

Tenko... is simply Goldship from Umamusume: Pretty Derby. She needs to experience wider groups of people than just her teacher, because the relationship they have does not seem healthy at all...

This chapter's victim was Ryoma!! For a second, i was terrified that it may have been Kaito, but I was relieved to see that that was not the case. Sad that it's Ryoma, but thankfully it's not Kaito. The killer is between Kirumi and Korekiyo, tbh. Kirumi because she completes tasks to the fullest and Ryoma was always kind of passively... yk.., Korekiyo because he's a fucking weirdo who wanted to see how everyone reacts to another killing to study them for his weird anthropology fetish.

I have to investigate this case, and hopefully during this class trial, I'll have collected the hope fragments and points necessary to get skills to make arguing my points and finding the truth easier. I'm still shocked by the fact that the Monokubs kill each other per-execution, so I paid extra attention to their dynamics this chapter, and I'm sure that something is going to happen between Monodam and Monosuke. Hopefully Monodam comes out victorious!! We love you Monodam!!!

They've been throwing trans women away, even though the site is kind of fucking famous for being a queer haven. Which sucks to the highest degree. I think Tumblr, as a site is incredibly neat! I get to see tons of artists enjoy their passions and hobbies. I get to engage with fandoms, and learn things about the shows, movies, and games I love.

But if that fandom, that space, and that platform is hostile to transgender women? Then it's not a place for anyone. The moderation on this site is reprehensible, everyone involved should be so ashamed of themselves that they quit on the fucking spot. They shouldn't be allowed to discriminate against anyone, let alone people who come to these online spaces to find a semblance of community and safety when the world right now is hostile as fuck.

Something needs to change now. Something needed to change before this all even started. Those poor women who got their accounts nuked from fucking orbit deserve better. They deserve more.
