Tomorrow, Saturday, August 1st at 7:00 PM EST, I'll be playing my very first Super Mario 64 rom hack!

I was looking through the comments on a cover of Glacier from Deltarune (This one's my favorite) since the Weird Route has some of the best soundtracks, and someone mentioned a "B3313". My interest was piqued, so I looked it up. I, at first, thought it was a Super Mario creepypasta, and I hadn't heard one of those since Dr. Gaster fell into his own creation. But something was off? The videos I watched were explorations, but they were live ones. I realized it wasn't a creepypasta, it was a playable game! It set me off on a longer than necessary quest to find out how to download and play B3313, but I managed it, and now? I get to experience a rom hack for the very first time. It looks a bit scary =w=

I Played Lightner's Live on Twitch!

First: What even is Lightner's Live anyway?

It's a fanmade deltarune rhythm game with almost every single track on the OST! It's also got some covers that the developer made!

Because it's a rhythm game, the tracks had varying difficulties, and some were straight up impossible...

I played Danganronpa 53: Killing Harmony on Twitch!

I forgot to save last week after Kaito's trial, I was too deep in despair. So I had to replay it! The horror!!

It served as a useful recap for last week, though, and a good segue into the events of chapter 6. I banked on having a little more time to spend with the true Danganronpa, the friends I'd made along the way, but then Keebo went berserk and started launching bombs at the school!

We only had a short time to investigate, and the timer was way too harsh! Scurrying around the school and getting lost everywhere... I wasn't even allowed to consult my map! The building was shaking, and there was so much debris everywhere, it was horrible to get through >:H

He even trapped Himiko in that weird secret room!

Found a lot of interesting things in that investigation, though. Like what that whole "World is Mine" thing Kokichi had going on. It was a diversion! The true message was only obvious when the other half was revealed.

But how?

I guess we'll never figure that out, since he's dead (as hell. What kinda shoes he got on in his casket)

Maybe the clues were already there before Kokichi got to them...

We also found a Flashback Fabrication Room that reset pretty fast when the door was opened. You could make almost any sort of flashback light in there, with memories that didn't necessarily have to be real.

In the end, the final class trial revealed a path to despair instead of hope.

It revealed that "Shuichi Saihara", "Himiko Yumeno", "Kokichi Ouma", and all of them... they were all walking, talking lies. Fabricated personalities embedded into their minds using those flashback lights.

The truth of the first trial, the truth of who "Rantaro" was, the truth of the past danganronpa games. none of it mattered. It was all a perfect fiction.

Hopefully next week we can find a glimmer of hope amidst all of this despair. We can't lose to Junko. We can't lose to Danganronpa!!

I'll be playing Stardew Valley!

I'll be seeing a lot of Robin soon, seeing as I need more buildings (sheds, especially...), and I'd like a better house to perhaps think about Sebastian even more seriously =///////=

The farm is expanding, and my responsibilities are inflating right along with it... Hopefully the workload won't swallow me whole!

I played Deltarune on Twitch!

I intended to practice just John Mantle and the Knight, but since I beat them fairly quickly (the second try for John, and the first for the knight), I figured I may as well try Gerson.

I was fully ready to fail the full five times and have to try the gauntlet legitimately, but I beat him on the third try!

Seeing as I was suddenly free for time, I embarked on a quick sidequest. Super fast. Just complete the rest of chapter 4. Titan and all.

It took an entire extra hour. Quick sidequest my ass. But It was great! It really was a testament to my skill that I breezed though everything in a timely manner. But we must also remember that m not a speedrunner.

Venturing through the sanctuaries, I found something interesting. I found a room between. Kris made a painting(?). Painted a tree(?) Painted a man(?). And then we got an egg.

Wonder what that was all about.

After leaving Kaito's execution, I don't think there's much else we can do. He was the guy who tied our ragtag group of Ultimates together. He was the one we relied on to rally us. To give us hope. Without him, what can we do? We've got 5 people left, and one of us is pulling the strings.

Can we close in on them before the killing game is completed? Is there enough evidence to even try? Or do we have to stay in this hellish cycle of killing and trials until someone gets one over on us?
