. Shrewpaw survives getting hit, meeting the same fate as Cinderpelt but he was still able to be a warrior (one day we will give Cinder justice. I’d like to think she still likes hunting patrols and occasionally goes). He also gets the name Shrewheart because I said so, and he’s canonically married to Squirrelflight in this AU. Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight respect each other, and Ashfur is still slightly obsessive.

. Arc 2 still plays out the same way for Leafpool and Crowfeather till we get to Leafpool’s Wish. Leafpool finds out she’s pregnant and is only really able to confide in her sister and brother-in-law, in which they go to StarClan together. When StarClan is doing their whole spiel about Squirrelflight being barren, Shrewheart immediately bites back at them. He is supportive of his mate, and I will stand by IT.

. Leaf does tell Crowfeather about this kits in this AU. While Crowfeather is initially hesitant, and maybe still holds some bitterness, he wants to help where he can. Of course, Squirrelflight holds him to that, because she loves her sister loads. Keeping his word, Crowfeather is there for the birth of his kits, and actually gets to bond (before they can really form that memory) with them a little before he has to go.

. Squirrelflight and Shrewheart raise the kits as their kits. I’d like to think that the reveal still happens with the fire, but it’s toned down a lot. The three are still upset, but personally I think Hollyleaf goes to the lengths she did before. Ashfur also ends up dying in the fire because I said so and he’s in the Dark Forest. ThunderClan also knows, and it is eventually told at the gathering, but I’d like to think this is after all the healing, and Crowfeather decides after that to go live in ThunderClan.

Unfortunately, I can not answer this fully, but I feel bad about leaving this blank, so let me give you what I can.

As for him dying, ughhhhhhh Shrewpaw lives until a certain book and then dies. Which could be said for any cat in AtD lol.

Shrewpaw and Squirrelpaw are very very close. If Leafpaw's best friend is Sorrelpaw, Squirrelpaw's best friend is Shrewpaw (make of that what you will)

Squirrelpaw confides in Shrewpaw often, and finds his somewhat laidback personality balances her out.

I've never seen romantic connections between the two. But! They are so so close, close enough to be each other's favourite person. I can very much see them being queerplatonic partners, platonic spouses, etc. Of course, I'm not allowed to confirm anything due to spoiler block.

Warrior cats OT3 rare-pair: Squirrelflight x Whitewing x Shrewsky(paw)

Whitewing is both Squirrel and Shrew's first cousin once added, but none of them mind. It just makes them feel even closer. Shrew is really protective of his mates. He's heard the things cats have said about his parents behind their backs about them being uncle and niece, yet being mates and having kits together. So he's really quick to shut down anyone who says even one rude thing about his mates.

I'm doing the Valentine's Day prompt challenge hosted over on r/Fanfiction (Post will be below the poll). I have gotten my one liner, yet I still want to ask the follow question of which ship should I write for. Keep in mind, the people who have never seen me before, I am in some small fandoms and some huge ones as well. I'll just take a ship from my main fandoms and go off of there. The ship can be platonic or romantic, only rule is that I must go along with the one-liner.
