Ashkit and Snailkit were born to Darkfoot and their mate, making them Tallstar’s half-siblings. Tallstar was already leader at the time of their birth, and the kits admired him from the start, especially with how active he was as their brother in their early moons. Snailpaw, unlike his more ambitious sister, is silly and laid-back, constantly joking to lift the spirits of his more serious fellow apprentices. When no one else does, Snailpaw makes the effort to befriend Robinpaw, though she is rude and quick to anger. Snailpaw stepped in front of the fox which attacked Robinpaw with no hesitation, losing his ears in the process. When asked why he would help her, Snailpaw tells her he simply just wanted to help her. Snailpaw chooses to be named Tornear, and he and Robinwing end become mates. While his mate has fears, Tornear tells her he'd be delighted to take on duties as a queen whenever she wants. Tornear loves raising his kits more than anything.

working through attempting to remove incest from thunderclan while staying canon-compliant enough to not affect major plots, remove frivolous ties, and maybe add some new neat ones (and ones that just fit my headcanons lol). this is my mental disorder but it's fun. organized matrilineally. pre-ITW is done, now the scary part begins...
