i need to consume tons of sodium to raise my blood pressure but that makes me dehydrated which gives me headaches and in my case right now migraines
and taking spiro makes me need to pee so much more than most people which also dehydrates me
and i don't want to bother anyone by going to the bathroom every 20 minutes just because i'm drinking a normal amount of water
so i drink much less water than i should just to have a more "normal" bathroom schedule
which also contributes to having headaches
so i think i now know why i always have a headache (to the point where ive become desensitized to my "baseline" headache level and it only reappears in certain situations)
Hey y'all I've been on spironolactone since I started hrt and I know it's not the best option but I don't know what options there are. What should I talk to my doctor about switching to?
Gotta up my dose of Spironolactone from 150mg to 200mg, but the dehydration side effects each time I increase suuuck.
Luckily I found that Liquid IV electrolytes helps a ton. They kinda expensive though.
