Seriously tho, just give that boy his own series
Being a chronicle of minor side character actors in Thai BL that I really want to see take on a main role.
1. James Supamongkon Wongwisut AKA Beer in Oxygen
Look at those eyes.
You can’t tell me you don’t want to watch him fall hopelessly in love with someone equally adorable?
2. Boss Thapanat Athikompokin AKA Keen in Love by Chance 2
He has what, like 8 lines or something? But the charisma flipping POURS off of him. It’s insane how riveting he is as a screen presence.
3. August Vachiravit Paisarnkulwong AKA Pete in Love Sick
This boy can seriously tug at viewer’s heartstrings. Probably the best known on this list of mine, but he’s never gotten to be a BL leading man, and he is so relaxed on screen.
4. Nammon Krittanai Arsalprakit AKA Nai in SOTUS S
He played the winsome ingenue intern in SOTUS but I feel like that role limited him. I think he has more range and liveliness and he is sooooo pretty. He’s under GMM so he’s been in lots of stuff as a side dish but never had a leading role.
5. AJ Chayapol & JJ Chayakorn (the Jutamas twins) AKA Jack & Jo in The Gifted
One or both of them pops up as a baddie or a BFF is so much BL. I’m always delighted to see them. Identical twins have a long history in romancelandia (I blame Sweet Vally High).
It would be so much fun to see these two lead out a series where one twin is gay and the other straight and they have to pretend to be each other and all sorts of romantic shenanigans ensue.
Yeah yeah, but this is my fantasy casting here.
That part in Still 2gether where JJ (as Ohm) is drunk will live in my brain forever as pure comedy gold.
