Possibly wild take but I hate the Thai BL industry treating/framing their actors as characters you can ship and keeping the same pairs per show instead of mixing them to help reinforce the ships, I don’t think it’s healthy for the actors or the audience.
It is massively what stopped me watching bls.
I feel like the audience focuses wayyy too much on these actors private and personal life, and when they don’t end up with whoever the audience wants, those actors then face the backlash. And think about actors who don’t get along who are forced to either keep working together or split and potentially hurt their careers.
They’re actors, people. Not characters yk?
Anyway I’m just rambling really
(Also side note that I haven’t been involved in the fandom in years so who knows my info could be outdated)
This recent interaction between BrightWin has sparked excitement, especially now that a rumor is circulating that B and N have broken up, with some even cheering for the possible comeback of BW. But personally, I would like them to remain friends off-camera. I don’t even want them to be screen partners again, even though I am a BW fan myself. I think it will do more harm than good if BW comes back. What do you all think??
