Possibly wild take but I hate the Thai BL industry treating/framing their actors as characters you can ship and keeping the same pairs per show instead of mixing them to help reinforce the ships, I don’t think it’s healthy for the actors or the audience.
It is massively what stopped me watching bls.
I feel like the audience focuses wayyy too much on these actors private and personal life, and when they don’t end up with whoever the audience wants, those actors then face the backlash. And think about actors who don’t get along who are forced to either keep working together or split and potentially hurt their careers.
They’re actors, people. Not characters yk?
