Hi Anon! Yes! There are a lot of friend groups I really enjoyed seeing over long stretch of bl watching! I'll list a handful because I don't want to go on for too long lol.
Pharm, Manaow, and Team from UWMA/Between Us. Just the sweetest little trio. Pharm takes care of them. Team protects them. And Manaow supports them. They're just so good together. And everyone got their swim team beau.
Phu's Besties from The Boy Next World. Tee and Nalin really looked out for and doted on Phu. Jin loved that Phu was so honest and easy to understand. And even tho Achi was a bit of an idiot he was still pretty protective of Phu. This friend group really looked out for him and made him feel loved...minus that one incident with Achi and Cir's fiancee...
Type, Champ, and Techno from TharnType/Tharntype 2: 7 Years of Love. Listen Techno and Champ were always down to follow one of Type's twisted schemes to get his revenge. They were always down for his shenanigans. Techno had Type's back every time and Champ wasn't about to allow anyone to hurt his friends. They were a chaotic trio of boys who were always up to no good.
Kirigun Siblings from TharnType/Tharntype 2: 7 Years of Love. Okay so they're not friends exactly. But Tharn doesn't really keep friends close after that whole Lhong thing. So he turns to his brother and sister (and cousin) for everything. Tharn treats them as siblings and friends and. Whenever he needed someone to talk to or help him out or uplift him he didn't go to friends he went to Thanya and P'Thorn.
Pearl's Babes from Gameboys/Gameboys 2/Gameboys the Movie. Pearl loved herself some CaiReel. The 3 of them leaned on each other a lot especially since they were all stuck in the pandemic together. Pearl was already pretty much inseparable with her ex turned bestie Gav and she basically just adopted Cairo the moment she met him. She would do anything for CaiReel and they would do anything for their Princess Pearl.
The Boy Clique from History 3: Make Our Days Count. Sure they were bullies to Yu Xi Gu for a time in the series. But they did have each other's backs and got into an abnormal amount of hijinks together. They were always down to clown with each other. A fun group of boys really...despite the bullying on behalf of Hao Ting.
Khem, Charn, and Jet from Khemjira. A loving friendship that literally transcends time. They're not complete without each other. Jet feels the need to protect and Charn feels the need to help and guide and Khem feels the need to support. I don't think they would be able to live properly without each other.
Seo Joon, Pil Hyun, and Ho Min from To My Star/To My Star 2. They're quite literally Seo Joon's only friends that he can trust and rely on. And even though Seo Joon stresses them both tf out they wouldn't change their favorite hyung for anything in the world. They protect and care for each other.
The Oddballs from Secret Crush On You. The most animated and colorful group of friends I've ever seen. Not only do they know about Toh's obsession with P'Nuea...they encourage it. But they also fight for each other's happiness and visibility. They won't tolerate hate of any kind. They clown together, cry together, and ride together.
Messy Besties from Together With Me. What can I say about this messy ass group of friends to defend them? Nothing. But what I can say is they love and support each other. They get through their problems together.
Engineering Freshies from SOTUS. I loved the freshmen class in this series. It was enjoyable to see their bond form in real time as they endured the hazing together.
