Since we might get GMMTV 26 lineup soon, do you have any prediction or wishlist?

Personally, I am really hoping for WilliamEst, SkyNani, JuniorMark, AouBoom and EmiBonnie. But chances of these happening seems low, especially for AouBoom.

GMMTV 2026 PREDICTION TIME

I should do a bingo card, shouldn't I? Bah, too much effort. Okaayyy, we still have a bunch of BLs in the can. Of the 15 or so BLs they announced for 2025, 10 of them have yet to air! They haven't even managed half. Frankly, I don't really want more, just finish this run out. Take a break GMMTV.

That would be a v farfetched prediction tho. So....

Only Friends 2 should be up next since we haven't seen anything of EarthMix et al for a while, I assume they have been filming. And the rumor is it's coming soon. (With cast changes.)

I suspect that means EarthMix might get a rest in 2026.

1 So my first prediction is: No new EarthMix show in 2026.

I'm a bit out of touch but I know the OGs (do we call them Gen 1 now?) were all on a tour recently. That means either Dog on a Plane or Burnout Syndrome (or both) have wrapped or not even started filming yet.

I can't imagine they would air Burnout and Only at the same time. Too much darkness and too many big guns at once.

So my guess is, even if they've finished filming Burnout, it's in post for a while. And will either start to air at the very end of this year or the beginning of next.

Prediction 2, Burnout Syndrome is the lead BL for 2026.

Frankly if they did this I would be hugely impressed with their market savvy, OffGun are a brilliant lead option for the winter (slow) season.

That means of the OGs, Dog on a Plane is the most likely to get a 2025 release. If it doesn't, there is a chance they will cancel that show. Since I've heard nothing about it being filmed, but also I haven't seen much of TayNew on circuit in a while, odds are 50/50 on this. So no prediction.

Now the Heart Killer boys have been in heavy rotation touring and such, so I don't think they've been filming recently. That means I think both their shows are next year.

Cat For Cash is fast to film but they do need to be in country to do it. My guess is this is the light weight they are gonna try for opposite Burnout at the beginning of the year. So FirstKhao should be filming SOON.

Prediction 3, Cat for Cash is the shadow BL lead for 2026.

Dare You To Death is more expensive and time consuming so I think it's gonna be pushed. Plus they'll need to film it during dry season (right now). So maybe it comes out midyear 2026? I'm gutted about this because it was my most anticipated of 2025.

Prediction 4, Dare You to Death is bumped to 2026. JoongDunk may get a new 2026 series announcement, but both shows won't air in the same year.

Because of all the cast changes no idea about My Romance Scammer. So no predictions here.

Also I couldn't care less about Head 2 Head but that's certainly delayed since the leads were just in something.

Ticket to Heaven is going to close out this year. Has to, right? It's a hot hot property. Also G4 have clearly been working hard recently. I think, like EarthMix, GMMTV might let these two rest next year. But I'm not as confident.

Prediction 5, no BL for G4 next year. Rumors of a split begin to circulate as a result.

Okay now Melody of Secrets, I think GMMTV are gonna push this one hard. Since the success of Khemjira, this is the thing they have on order that has the most similar vibes. And Thailand loves them some ForceBook so maybe this is coming soon? I think they've been filming it?

I do think GMMTV is likely in need of a comedy for fourth quarter 2025, since it's faster to produce. If Dog on a Plane doesn't drop then is should be Love You Teacher. But boy do I hope everyone forgot about that travesty.

If we are real lucky it's Me and Thee instead.

This was one of my most anticipated of the 2025 line up (that hasn't aired yet). And we haven't seen much of PondPhuwin recently, so I am really hoping they're filming rn and this is next in rotation. Which means, they may also get a new one announced for next year.

Which brings us to...

New BLs from GMMTV?

6 A new BL for PondPhuwin.

If GMMTV is going to risk it again, and fork out for another historical, then I would hand it to this pair. If not, I think they are going to get a remake/adaptation show. (I really wish they were on the hook for the Love Destiny remake. They would be wonderful.)

7 Whether we like it or not GMMTV will try SingtoKrist one last time. *heavy sigh*

Honestly if they really wanna pull on nostalgia they should just give us "SOTUS 10 years later." It's 2026 after all...

Nostalgia is going to be a huge theme in all pop culture over the next few years. Always is during recessions.

8 WilliamEst get a new BL announced, but it won't end up airing until 2027.

I do think it would be v smart to put WilliamEst in something new. But I am not sure it will air next year. These 2 cobrand extremely well (and often outside of market window) so it feels like they are gunning for a new show. So despite LYKN commitments, I genuinely think there is a chance. Fingers crossed. I like them a lot. If we are lucky it's a sports BL.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see Nut (LYKN) get a side couple pairing. He seems game. No, it will not be from within LYKN.

9 New BL for BounPrem. GMMTV is going to try again with them. Sunk cost fallacy in action. New will direct?

Sorry all, but I am out on these two. I remain very disappointed in Revamp in large part due to their boring chemistry and Prem's, frankly, wooden acting. Boun deserved a new partner... BITE ME.

10 Bright leads out a new BL. Not sure who he partners with but I hope it's good.

I'd like to see him paired with someone younger and some kind of age gap premise for the show. But that's not really GMMTV's thing (they avoid the taboo side of BL most of the time, titillation = yes, taboo = no). But we all have our foibles. Mine is BrightAston. Don't bother my fantasy with your reality.

(Honestly I could see GMMTV making a play for Nonkul.)

Minor predictions:

SkyNani get another bromance, maybe a horror of some kind?

FirstKhao get a new serious show.

Neither JuniorMark nor AouBoom get to lead their own BLs. I just think GMMTV is finding them too valuable as sides.

Something with PerthSanta?

JimmySea I am way less confident about. I have a sinking sensation with them.

JosGawin haven't pair branded much outside of their marketing window so I don't think we will see them again.

There will be at least one high school BL, perhaps a boarding school? Would be hugely amused to see Thailand adapt say... Takumi-kun.

At least one uni BL, maybe with a new pair?

Another feel-good group project like We Are or Perfect 10.

Something with strong folklore, horror, and/or myth elements.

Crazy thought: colab with China.

Even crazier thought: colab with Taiwan.
