kinda like an adventure of tintin movie (2011) plot where the train contains a secret clue to a hidden treasure, and that's why the "collector' is so rabid for it. but the reader refuses, so it's stolen and the reader has to find it before the twins are discovered in it or the twins have to help the reader when they're attacked for the train

It has admittedly become a habit of mine. That is, to document the happenings of the Hisui region when the time and fancy strikes me. Aside from my academic papers, the writings I keep often revolve around frivolous matters, such as that of the weather or local gossip and legends.

This particular account is far from trivial. It was written more as a necessity. I simply could not sleep until the whole ghastly affair had been put to ink and paper by my very hand. I can only apologise in advance for the tear-stained pages which follow.

One must be forgiven for their tears when writing about the murder of one’s dear friend.

I shall endeavour to be true to detail as I lay forward the facts as I found them.
