if there's anyone who can ground Soldier it is Heavy, however little. Like sometimes Soldier will be all over the place, wanting to fight everyone and everything, but then Heavy will put his hand on his shoulder and be like "No. Not now. You need to eat something first and shower. Maybe later."

Heavy is very reluctant about introducing Soldier to his family. Not because Soldier's Soldier, but because Zhanna is basically female Soldier and Heavy's not quite ready for that Zhanna and Soldier duo

all of that aside, what really brings them together and what they have most in common is their love for killing people really. Like yeah, Heavy is vastly more grunded... outside of matches, but on the battlefield? They team up and celebrate together after that more than one might imagine

Heavy is actually quite fond of Soldier's racoons and his bond with them, however weird it is. It's kinda cute? Heavy actually tries to take care of them, mostly by bringing them actual food

Yes, Soldier insists he's stronger than Heavy but at the same time he's very happy about having a strong partner. Like, he thinks they're a power duo and that's really great, they're an American duo the world needs. Yeah, he sometimes forgets Heavy is in fact Russian. Heavy doesn't protest that much, hey, at least Solly mostly stopped calling him "a Commie"

little things like the way heavy handles his guns like theyre his daughters. the way his face lights up whenever his teammates do something nice or funny or annoying. the way they sit alone in the mess hall at night sometimes over shitty beer trading war stories andeven though soldier's pretty sure he's told this one a bunch of times before, and even though he keeps forgetting names and changing details around and forgetting to make things make sense heavy still laughs and cheers like it's the best story he's ever heard...

every so often heavy's ujst cooking dinner or something and soldier stomps in and goes YOU WITH YOUR RIPPLING MUSCULATURE AND CHISELED FEATURES AND INVITING AURA AND CAPTIVATING PRESENCE... I DON'T BUY IT. I WILL NOT FALL FOR YOUR MIND TRICKS, SO DO NOT EVEN TRY TO BE MORE HANDSOME THAN YOU ALREADY ARE! and then he stomps away fuming and heavy's like ???!?

oh my god, so i was playing medic in a TF2 payload server and then i was healing a heavy closest to the spawn point so i can uber him once the round starts,, but then this soldier with a golfing stick (i think??) crouched and started to hit the same heavy's ass that i was healing.

So i went to the chat and commented

"That's gay,"

And then the soldier just stopped hitting the heavy's ass and then slowly turned to me and said

"yes it is,"

and then he quickly continued to hit the heavy's ass until the round started and i lost my shit.
