it's not confirmed but if i had to guess he's either peds or NICU? given all the lil texts about sick kids he sends brooke, and the fact that he's advising his coworkers to dab for the patients bc it makes them happy 😭 (not that i, a full grown adult, would not be grinning like an idiot if lance arroyo came into my room dabbing)

guarantee he has a Ridiculous and Specific Nickname for all his patients (e.g. cook brooke, brooke who's talking, care bear). or he'll call them "little man," or something similar, like how he refers to chase. very big brother/your coolest uncle energy, very sunshine boy energy. doesn't leave the room until every single anxious family member is a little more at ease, hopefully smiling 🥺💕

he adjusts really well to the energy levels/moods for each kid, like can go from No. 1 Door Basketball Hype Man to just being very soft and soothing and kind in 5 seconds flat

[googling how long it takes to become a nurse] unless he absolutely speedran nursing school, i think he escaped the worst of the pandemic? 😅 the s2-s3 time jump is 2020-2023, so he's probably only been a nurse for a year!! and look how much everybody already loves him, how capable he is 🥺

i'm guessing joggers + the least ugly sneakers he can find that can still support him throughout a long day on his feet. honestly he probably customizes them in his free time and shows them off to the kids. lets them draw all over his dry-erase shoes

can lance cook 🤔 hmmm him and brooke's apartment kitchen seems way too clean to see daily use, so he probably makes microwave mac and cheese for himself just as much as he makes it for his patients (idk probably throwing in some chicken or veggies or smth)

i have a very basic sense of style (read: i don't have any sense of style) so i guess it's any of the team cap boys??? steve, sam, joaco?? who seem to exclusively wear men's basics like, khakis/jeans, a plain t-shirt, a jacket?? and like very neutral tones?? that's me ig. i'm not wearing a baseball cap though ✋
