Hi everyone! We both know there are a lot of mixed reviews about season 7. Some people love it, some people hate it. There were a lot of upsides to the season and a lot of downsides. However, we have been working on a very special project for a very long time. We have been compiling playlists of songs that describe the different voltron ships throughout their existence according to our own fanon, and common fanons throughout the fandom. And we would like your help with the next part of this project! We will be creating fan art for each song depicting the couple in the scenario the song represents. (ex. River by Bishop Briggs is sort of when lance and keith come together in an “I hate you so much but you’re really fucking hot” way in our fanon.) Please note that this fanart can be in whatever format you like! A comic, a single drawing, an animatic, ANYTHING! We just want y’all to be creative! We will be posting the playlists on both of our accounts with our ideas of where the different songs land in our fanon written below each link. Please, if you decide you would like to make fan art, tag it with #voltron playlist, and we will continue updating the playlists with different fan art submissions as they come in. We hope that this project may help bring the fandom together during this rather difficult time. Seeing everyone fighting is extremely discouraging and we would love to create something that everyone can happily work on.

Keith and Lance in the beginning, rescuing Shiro and becoming Paladins. Mutual crushes that they detest greatly. They are trying to work through their issues and are trying to figure out their feelings. This song shows there relationship through Lance getting hurt by the explosion.

Lance and Keith’s feelings only grow after their bonding moment and they both start to really fall for each other. During training, during meals, during fights. Mutual pining, but not accepted yet. This includes the Crystal Venom episode and Keith saving Lance from dying.

Similar situation as Toxic, same scenarios but now they have both kind of accepted their crushes. But they still are too oblivious to realize the other feels the same way. This starts to happen after the season 1 finally when they realize how worried they were for each other when they were separated.

After they visit the Blades for the first time and Keith realizes he is part galra, Lance realizes that he should probably talk to Keith to check in on him. When he gets to his room Keith gets angry expecting Lance to hate him just like Allura. And lance gets angry because Keith is so self conscious he can’t believe that someone could actually care about him. Keith is stunned and rushes Lance. All the pent up feelings get released (y’all, this is your chance to get smutty if you so please)

After they get together, they talk about their feelings and possible relationship. Keith admits that he has never been able to be vulnerable and Lance decides it’s his job to make Keith feel loved. This goes through their Zarkon fight and Shiro’s disappearance.

Lance says I love you to Keith in a last ditch attempt to get Keith to stay. Keith is stunned. He doesn’t say it back and leaves any way. Lance puts on a brave face but he has a breakdown.

It’s the Voltron and rebel’s battle against the galra and Voltron is about to be destroyed. Keith decides he needs to sacrifice himself to save voltron and lance. He realizes he loves Lance, and that Lance deserves better. He is willing to die to save him.

After Zarkon’s death, the power struggle erupts in the galra. When Keith goes to the Kral Zera and almost gets killed, Shiro tells Lance and Lance gets pissed. He gets even more pissed when he finds out that Axca saved him. Lance was supposed to be the one to save him always, and he wasn’t there for him.

Keith and Lance both decided they were not good for each other, thinking they are helping each other. During the radio silence on both of their parts, they reminisce about their relationship. This is an especially hard time for Keith as the thought of Lance coming back to him is one of the few things that gets him through his 2 years with Krolia.

Unfortunately for you, you aren’t very well versed in translating Morse code, merely recognizing it. You reach into your purse to grab your phone, but after a moment of searching, you realize you had left it at home before you left for work. “God damnit,” you mutter. You’re more than halfway to your office, and you’re already running late due to the fact that that you decided to follow some whim and jot down some cryptic message from a provocative rapper. Concluding that it would probably be best for you to mosey to work, you pull back onto the expressway and try to make it to work on time.

Upon arriving at work, you ask any coworker in sight if they know Morse code. Nobody seems to, and some don’t even know what Morse code is. You slump your shoulders in disappointment and head over to your desk, when suddenly, the quiet, mouse-like secretary clears her throat and says, “Excuse me, I know Morse code!”

You turn around with the same wide eyes as before. “You do!?” you ask vigorous excitement, which seems to startle the young woman.

“Yes,” she says, “when I was younger, I planned on joining the navy, so I taught it to myself.” You feel a bit sorry for her, that she wound up as a mere secretary instead of a naval officer, but that feeling of pity didn’t stop you from being grateful for the lucky coincidence of her knowing Morse code. You show her the pattern.

“That’s all there is?” she asks, furrowing her brow.

“Yeah,” you shrugged, “it just kept repeating that over and over again. What does it say?”

Your heart sinks a little. “What is that? What does that mean, is it like a phone number or house address or something?”

The secretary shrugs. “I’m really sorry, I don’t know. It’s too short to be a phone number, but beyond deciphering it, I’m afraid I can’t help you.”

You nod slowly, and though you understand, you are still not at all satisfied. You go to sit at your desk. 1 2 2 50. The sequence plays over and over in your head all day, and needless to say, your curiosity an wonderment got the best of you. It was not a very productive work day.

You head home, and the same damned song plays on the radio. You shake your head as if that would make the song stop, then decide to plug 12250 into your GPS to see if there are any autofill results. None. You become increasingly frustrated.

When you get home, your daughter is sitting at the kitchen table, working on homework. She runs up to you and gives you a big hug, and asks about your day at work. You put on a fake smile and sigh. “Interesting,” you say— no doubt sugarcoating the intense excitement, disappointment, and confusion.

“Will you help me with my homework? I have to memorize something for my history class tomorrow.”

“Of course, doll! What are you memorizing?”

She hands you a laminated sheet of paper. “Roman numerals!”

You glance over the page, your eyes quickly darting from one, to two, to fifty.

It dawns on you. You’d recognize this pattern anywhere.
