reg! that bitch! i love how we were all united by our shared hate for regulus.

honestly, i think he's an unbearable person. he seems like someone you can trust: he's nice, good at school, and quite serious. he has the charm of a quidditch player, and he's friends with a lot of different people, from pandora (who's nice and kind) to the slytherin gang. but the truth is, he's not a good friend at all. many of his friends from other houses have been treated badly by his slytherin friends, but regulus won't stop hanging out with them because, "well, they didn't do anything to me." he knows bullying happens, sees it happen, and does nothing to stop it. he seems like someone who could comfort people, but he's cold and distant because he lives in this fucking gray area situation where he refuses to take a side. he's convinced that not actively participating in bullying makes him a good person, when he literally knows when slytherins plan their attacks, cause they tell him and he just pretends not to listen. he's the worst kind of person.

i do think he can be generally nice, though. as i said, i really like his relationship with pandora because he's patient and can calm her down. he's a good listener, except when someone complains about one of his friends; this is when he gets defensive.

about his relationship with rosekiller... i think reg is a year or two younger than evan and shares a dorm with barty (+ avery and yaxley), but he and barty don't get along at all because barty hates everyone, especially the slytherins (he is badly bullied too). evan is his second cousin, but they only hang out at hogwarts cause the blacks despise the rosiers. i like to think that evan is quite popular among slytherins, because everyone knows that his parents are big voldemort supporters; and i think regulus is very fascinated by him. he sees evan as a role model (especially after sirius leaves, evan sort of becomes his new older brother), and it's through him that regulus comes to know the death eaters. but! it's the death eaters that ruin their relationship, actually.
