|Kataang is probably one of the most repulsive and deeply unbalanced relationships in fiction I have ever witnessed. It’s pure, unadulterated emotional labor, a woman constantly managing a man's psychological trauma, which is somehow framed as 'true love.' Fine, during their childhood, it could be chalked up to circumstances and growing up, but this nightmare literally lasted for their entire fucking lives!

I’m currently on season 5 of The Magicians and it’s absolutely infuriating. You’d think after four and a half seasons, they’d finally learn to stop trying to save the world. I seriously should’ve stopped watching after season 4 because every time they try to intervene, they only make things worse.
We’ve gone from The Beast, who sure, k i l l e d a bunch of people but his kill count was tame compared to the rest of the show. And then they get rid of him. And then they have another mess and instead of stopping while they’re ahead, they off a god. And then when magic gets taken, instead of leaving it alone, they release a vengeful god into the world. And sure, they brought magic back but they also put a fascist regime in power.
And then they off the god and the leader of the fascists, and yeah they have intense surges in magic. People will d i e. And that’s objectively bad.
But in trying to fix that, they mess with the moon. Which, any idiot should know not to do. And now they’ve broken the moon and the earth is about to be destroyed.
And of course they can’t leave it alone now! So they’re going to mess around even more. Even though, every time before this, their interventions only make things worse.
And I don’t know if I can handle any more of this. I’m barely seeing any character development from most of the main characters. At this stage, I’m convinced I’m being intentionally rage baited.
Every time someone refuses to concede, the label shifts from “person with a different view” to “troll,” like “you’re not validating my argument or handing me anything to attack, so now you’re a troll.” Like ok?

i love rage baiting
I plan to say goodbye to my homelab in August as I prepare to move out to university and have to get a real life and not be a loser. I don't care that my porn is will be on someone else's computer instead of my own cloud (it's all adult men who are of the age to clearly not need to show their ID to buy beer). I can't be bothered to set it up in my apartment on the network managed by the university's IT department, and be the one responsible for fixing it when it goes wrong.
