Summary: A lazy night on the couch
"I think we should go to sleep," Will said as a sleepy Hannibal was snoozing on his shoulder wrapped in a blanket in the blue TV light.
"I thought we were watching that," he protested, not even opening his eyes.
"Yeah, I liked especially the part when you were snoring. You're not even sitting comfortably."
Hannibal shook his head and stubbornly against Will's shoulder. "I am comfortable whenever I am with you, Will."
"Do you have a switch off button?"
"That's definitely not what you said last night."
"I remember," Will replied, "It was right before you broke our bed. Right before you fell off the bed. Right before you broke a rib."
"I regret nothing. Besides, sleeping on the living room couch has its own appeal."
"We have less room and I get to be closer to you."
"That's great. Especially in the summer and with a broken ac."
"Loving you entails loving your sweat," Hannibal said and kissed Will's shoulder quickly.
"I should just stop being weirded out by the stuff you say. Go to sleep."
The tv remote hit the floor with a loud thud. "It's past midnight. We are going to sleep."
Hannibal remained quiet until Will's voice made him grin.
"And crackers," Will repeated as he carefully moved Hannibal's head off his shoulder.
"And Will?" he started just as Will had left their cozy spot.
