last week I finally started my PhD program! it's so surreal to be here. how long have I daydreamed about my first day of class? was it really six months ago that I came to visit campus for the first time? despite the high intellectual demand, everything feels more chill than my undergrad experience. instead of pouring my every fiber of being into making the grade, my entire purpose is instead steeping my mind in new ideas and becoming a better scientist. and despite the stress, that's an incredibly relaxing shift.

I don't have any classes these days. Spent the weekend with my family and got into an ice cream eating competition with my cousins. I'm working on a paper and I so don't have energy to do it. I was looking at my syllabus for next sem and I have social psychology?? I'm so excited. Also why do I forget all the words when I have to write something?

It would have lots of trees ,berries bushes, undergrowth, a mini lake with some fishes and lotus. The trees full of lichens,mosses and eiphytes . A urban garden full of aromatics, vegetables and trees such as lemons, avocados and apples.i would also like to have lots of vines falling all over the garden.

This month’s bujo spreads were (kinda) inspired by the flowers growing in my garden. This week was pretty nice because I had my last exam, last day of classes and I hit 200 followers!! This summer I plan on continuing to learn Spanish and start studying for my October IGCSE exams (I’m self studying chemistry and physics) and I want to pick up coding as well. So expect to be hearing more from me more in the next few months :)

Perusing the local arts/culture magazine for journaling ephemera and ideas for weekend fun before I start work and school in September. I just got back from a trip to another city and it made me appreciate mine more. One of my goals this year is to immerse myself in the local culture of my hometown before moving abroad for grad school!

Definitely daytime. I haven’t slept well this week because it’s been far too hot but I just love it getting so light so early and staying light for so long!
