LTW: The Ark Builder

Lake comes from a rather well-to-do family of old money, though you might not be able to tell just from looking at him. Especially since he doesn't really care about any of that - he's a pretty laid back guy. He's never really cared for his family's money, and prefers to just live a life he enjoys. To be honest, his dream life would be one where he can just fill his home with animals and maybe become a musician - the only thing he's ever really had an interest in doing as a job. His parents never really understood his life goals, being two of the most ambitious people he'd ever met, and as such they often told him to get his head out of the clouds and start thinking realistically. Realistically meaning "become a doctor or businessman or something."

Well, Lake is much too lazy to want to become one of those things, and he doesn't mind admitting that he lacks motivation. He'd rather make videos of himself playing the guitar and singing songs of his own creation (while his animals coo and screech and meow and bark in the background). To be honest, his life is going pretty well from his point of view - all he needs is a better place for when he starts adopting and rescuing animals, and... love.

He was never a go-getter when it came to anything except music or animals, so really, he's only dated a couple of girls, and neither of those relationships ended very well. So that is why, when he heard about this BC, Lake jumped on the chance to possibly find love. He knows he might not be a "dream guy" or anything, but he still hopes he will be able to win Clementine's heart just the same.

If you were to ask someone about Nathanial Nightshade, the first thing they would say is that he is very friendly. That, and very lucky. See, growing up (and even now), he has been very rebellious. Tagging buildings, holding protests, Nathanial has done it all. While these qualities make life all the more interesting, Nathanial has had something missing in his life.

What is that missing link? A stable partner. His first one, his “high school sweetheart” was lovely, and he thought she was “the one”. Unfortunately, she left him on not-so good terms after their graduation for her best friend. Once in college, Nathanial found a guy he really fancied and proposed towards the end their time there... only to find out that he didn‘t want kids. That was a big deal breaker for Nathanial, given he wants a large family, and that he’s a very nurturing person once you get to know him. The kids he babysat as a teenager still fondly recall the fun times they had with Nathanial, and he’s even considered opening a daycare at some point.

This is why he’s entered the Moonshine BC, to hopefully find a partner-in-crime in Crystal. Will his luck prevail, or will he strike out again?

Y’know, despite Generations being one of my favorite EPs, I realized in making Nathanial and writing his bio that I haven’t actually played a daycare. Huh. Future save perhaps?

Amaranth could be your typical soft boy who can easily be lost in a book about adventures in the far away countries. Unlike others he really did make a first step towards fulfilling his dream of travelling and hadn’t stayed in the library. He already visited Shang Simla and was heavily inspired by it. Now he cannot live without the thrills of new adventures and journeys. But Amaranth is also a really romantic person and his further dream is to find himself a soulmate with whom he can share his dream. Whether Crystal Moonshine will be his new adventure or someone else, Amaranth knows this would be an adventure of a lifetime.

In my game, however, he looks more pinkish than on the screenshot (but I have a supposition that the colors on my laptop are slightly messed up). So... don’t be surprised if in your game his color is slightly different.
