Ok I really wanted to finish this so after I turned the keys in to my condemned flooded wreck of an apartment I sat down in the new place and basically finished this in one sitting.

My thoughts on this AU is that Elliot is Demeter. Robbie is Zeus. Elliot doesn’t care about Robert much other than the fact he is Zeus’ progeny and thus has a lot of power. He drains Robert’s power for his own on a regular basis. This is the reason he is so controlling and doesn’t want to let Robert out of his domain.

The red vines are a parasitic plant called cuscuta or dodder. It doesn’t have chlorophyll so cannot utilize photosynthesis. Instead it wraps around a host plant and grows a special kind of root called haustoria. It embeds these roots in its host penetrating their vascular system and steals water and nutrients through them. There are a few types of dodder that are red in color so I thought it would be perfect to symbolize the parasitic nature of the relationship I am imagining between Elliot/Demeter and Robert/Persephone in this AU.

The blue flower in the background the dodder is wrapped all around is blue starflower. In this image I mean for it to represent transformation and change as well as endurance and perseverance- Elliot is trying to keep everything the same even though Robert wants to grow. Robert is very stubborn though and intends to endure and find a way out of his situation.

Time for a regularly scheduled break from cute content... here comes an angst fest.

any ship with a big age gap with an older man (shroud, cibert, etc)? despite literally being weak in the knees about the age difference and so horny about it he's calling *them* the pervert for being into a guy half their age.

phen, punch up, blazer anyone significantly stronger who just manhandles robert with ease— not safe either even tho robert is the one with the obvious strength kink

And like, of course sefikura became canon on my island. They’re clearly in love. But I also really wanted Flambert to happen.

Well clearly Shroud had other plans. Cause the BASTARD fell in love with Robert and the two got married.

And like, okay, haha, it’s funny. Not what I had in mind but it’s kinda funny. Also Flambae is living with them and so that’s funny too.

Anyway I left the game alone for ONE FULL DAY and when I came back, Robert and Shroud had HAD A BABY. The implication was that Robert had given birth.
