Falling short
My Dear Blog,
It is a good thing when we realize that we have fallen short of an effort. That is usually a good place to start improving.
The best thing is to plan and try to achieve a goal every day and if you fall short of the goal by evening, you ruminate and try to find the causes. Next day you could probably reset your goal or try to overcome the challenges. Does that not sound like improvement?
Imagine the other case. You never fall short of your efforts. Most probably you are not stretching far enough your limits. That is a bad thing, you are not improving.
So, if you catch yourself falling short, smile, don’t frown. You have taken your first step to improve

Other people will look at you and see only their own shortcomings. Ignore them. You know your way around yourself–that is what matters.
