I feel SO SLOW in my production of art. Like, I want to put out a page a day genuinely but unless I was making full time money doing this sorta thing I will not be able to do that. I also think I have a hard time balancing out having a page ‘look good’ vs ‘being done’ because realistically people will look at a page for maybe 30 seconds, maaaaybe revisit once or twice, then not really bother again. So like me putting a bunch of hours into one page or a background really isn’t doing anyone any good- me or a reader. It might like a little nicer, but it also makes the difference in me finishing 1 page bs 3.

I’m also fighting myself on some of the story. I want to bring more horror back into this, I want more unsettling shit, but I’ve backed myself into a bit of a corner with the way I have my setting done. I might need to do some reworking of it and that’s a pain ugh…. Especially because I feel people are not as engaged anymore the longer I go without a page having something sinister/spooky/etc- but also that’s not 100% what I want the focus to be on

Just needed to toss my thoughts out into the void and get them outta my head so I can instead work on moving forward with it.
