“I can’t believe you bought that!” Keith said as he, Lance, Hunk and Pidge came back from a supply run at the space mall.

“Stop whining Keith!” Lance said as he started to strum the guitar he brought from the earth part of the mall. “You just jealous that I got it.”

Keith rolled his eyes at the Blue Paladin.

“Whatever you need to tell yourself.”

“Are you sure that you are okay?” Shiro asked as you push yourself off the floor.

“Yes, I’m fine dad, no need to worry.” you teased Shiro, but Shiro had real reason to worry over you. You just came back from a Pod healing nap session from the last battle Voltron got into and then volunteer yourself to help him clean up the ship to Alluar, Coran and Shiro displeasure.

This was now the thrid time you had pass out and Shiro was tempted to drag you the Med bay and put you back into a Pod.

“Shiro, Y/N, the team has just came back from the mall.” said Allura over the intercoms

“Sweet! Going beat you there!” You said running down the hall.

Shiro sighed and run after you.

“I think that is the last of it.” Keith said as he set down the last of the box full of food, and equipment.

“Good work Team!” Lance said from the box he was sitting on.

“Yea, great job Lance. I think you about two boxes.” Keith said.

“They were the heavy ones.”

“Sure.”

“Hey, no fighting!” You said as you run in the hanger.

“Y/N!” Keith said in surprise “What are you doing? You should be in the Pod, not running around.”

“Stop worrying Mullet.” You said with a smile “I’m all heal up.”

“Not if you keep pushing yourself like you are.” Shiro said as he walked over to the Team.

“Pidge and Hunk get the equipment to Coran, he in the generator room. Keith and I are going to are going to take the food the the Kitchen.”

“So what am I and Lance I going to do?” you asked.

“Lance make sure Y/N goes to her room and rest.”

“But-” you started

“No buts” Shiro said.

“Come on Y/N.” Lance said grabbing your hand and pulling you in the direction of the bedrooms.

“Are you sure about that?” Keith said looking Shiro.

“We’ll fine out in five minutes”

‘I’m fine, I don’t need to go bed.” you whine as the blue paladin sat next to your bed on a chair.

“Y/N, you nearly die. You need to rest.” he said playing with the guitar and not looking you in the eye.

“It not like any one care.” you said under your breath.

“Of course we care.” Lance shot back. “Keith nearly when mad and kill everyone, and Hunk was balling his eyes out. Shiro and Allura blamed themselves and Coran made your favorite space goo over and over again. Pidge wouldn’t speak for days.”

“You did you do?”

“I  . . .well . . .umm . . .nevermind.” he said looking at his guitar and then he strum it.

“Do you know how to play that?” you said.

“Of course.” Lance said “I just haven’t picked a song to play yet.”

“There an old song that my mom used to sing to me when I was little.” you said “She got the guitar out and everything.”

“What was it called?”

“Safe and Sound by someone called Taylor Swift. Find it on the internet a few years ago.”

“I think I know that one.” Lance said as the started the strum the sweet but sad melody to the old song and soon he started to see the words to song. Your eye got heavy and heavyer, and soon they were close, and when Lance notice the song was done.

“When you die Y/N I sat by your side fearing that I never tell you that I love you.”

“Keith Kogane to the office!”said the voice on speaker.

“Ohhh!”said Lance.

“Shut up.” Keith answered sharply as he got up and walked out of third period, and down to the office.

“Keith! I’m so glade you could make it!” said Guidance Counselor Coran. “This is our new student Y/N Y/LN.”

Coran gestured to you, who was standing next to him. You were beautiful, Keith though, but you weren’t looking at him.

“I’m over here.”

“Oh I’m sorry. I’m blind.”

“Oh. . . “

Keith looked at Coran, who nodded.

“So why I’m I here?”

“You and her shared the same bus and the same schedule. So you are going to help her doing the school day.”

“What!”

Coran shot Keith a look.

“Okay. Where is her locker?”

“Oh, you and her are sharing one.”

Keith sighed and nodded.

“Okay, sir.”

“Great!” Coran said and walked into his office.

“Okay, Y/N.  Let’s go.”

“Umm . . .Keith?”

“Yes?”

“Can I hold on to your jacket when we walk?”

“Sure?”

You started to walk in to the direction of where Keith was, but tripped. Keith acted quickly and catch you before you hit the ground.

“Are you okay?”

You nodded your head, and Keith helped you up slowly.

“How about I hold your hand?” Keith said and you nodded.

“What color is it?”

“Umm. . .Navy Blue.” Keith said looking at his  their locker as he put your stuff in it.

“It felts betting up.”

“It jams a lot.” Keith said moving your hand out of the way so he close it.

“Hey Keith!” yelled Lance.

“Who that?” you asked.

“I’m Lance McClain, the greatest looking guy in the whole Garrison High.”

“Really?” you answered.

“Of course! Can you see it?” answered Lance posing dramatically.

“No, I can.” she said flatly.

Keith laughed at Lance’s face.

“How! I mean I ten times better than Keith.”

Keith shot him a look.

“Because I’m blind.”

“What?”

“She can’t see, Lance, in case you did hear her.”

“Jerk.” he said and walked away.

“Umm. . . “ Keith said looking at the lunch you had.

“I’m not sure what it is. It looks like rice, gravy and chicken parts.”

“Keith!” said Shiro, walking over to where you and Keith were eating.

“Oh, hi Shiro.”

“Who?”

“I’m Keith’s older brother. Nice to meet you . . .”

“Oh um Hi. My name is Y/N.”

“Nice to meet you.”

“Shiro!” said Allura running over to you three. “I thought we were going out of lunch?”

“Oh, we are. I just saw my little brother with his girlfriend and I had meet her.”

“Shiro!” Keith said turn red. The two seniors laugh and Shiro rubbed his head.

“I’m joking, Keith. Nice to meet you Y/N” Shior said and got up and walked away with Allura.

“Who was that female voice?”

“Allura. Shiro’s girlfriend.”

“What does she look like?”

“Well. . .”

“Look out!” yelled Pidge down the hallway as she and Hunk chased after crazy robot.

“Y/N!” Keith said as he pulled her out of the way of the robot. They were really close, so close that Keith could smell her hair. Keith swore he had never see anyone as beautiful as you.

“Are you okay?” he whispered.

“I am because of you.”

The final bell rang and you and Keith were walking to the bus.

“Is than normal at Garrison?”

“No.” Keith started “It normal worst.”

You laughed and Keith thought is was the most beautiful sound and vowed to made it happened her offtend.

“Did you just joke?”

“Yay, I guess, I did.”

“You know for a bad boy you have a big heart you can’t hide.” you said.

Keith blushed.

“See you tomorrow. I mean umm-” Keith started but was stopped when you touch his face. He didn’t move, not walking to scare you or make you stop. Your hand stopped on his chin and she pulled you close.

You then kissed him on the cheek.

“I hope I didn’t miss.” she whispered.

“You did.” Keith said.

“But I thought-” you started but was cut off but Keith kissing your lips. It was breathtaking soft and sweet, but was cut shot but Lance yelling,

“No P.T.A. Keith! Come on man!”
