NY-6 Arrives por Erie Limited Por Flickr: Susquehanna NY-6 arrives at Little Ferry just after sunset behind an SD45/GP39-2 duo. This combination of power was not uncommon in the mid-late 1980s. Note that the Guilford "G" has been removed from 389, marking the date of this photo as post-Delaware & Hudson separation from Guilford. SP SD54X 9504 in Demo paint. by Steve Sloan Via Flickr: Southern Pacific (SP) SD45X 9504, still wearing EMD demonstrator paint, crosses E. Scotts Avenue approaching the diamonds at Stockton, CA. The date of this photo was not recorded, likely in 1973. According to good sources, including Strapac's fantastic SP Compendium series, SP 9504 was built in Feb. 1971 to SP specifications by EMD as a model SD45X, builders number 36807, EMD 4202. It was sold to Southern Pacific in December 1972 becoming SP 9504 EMD SD45X, SP Class EF642-2. The disposition of this locomotive is, retired June 1984, scrapped.
