Hi! First let me tell you I'm absolutely in love with the way you write. I love your portrayal of Voldemort. I finished rereading Either must die and although it was such a amazing ride, I couldn't stop with the what-if's. It's ending was bittersweet. And I loved and hated it. Felt mighty sorry for harry. Harry loved to the point of self-destruction and it felt unfair that after everything, at the end,he had no one in his life who would love him as much or even more; who would place him first, prioritize him above everyone else. Harry went through a lot, his entire life craving for a family and seeing him have to settle with his lot, make compromise with being unable to have someone who would be wholly his. It tore me apart a bit. I know Delphi loves him but she too would always put Voldemort first. Teddy could've been harry's but andromeda crushed that possibility and harry didn't try to play a bigger part in teddy's life. I thought a lot of how things could've been, should've been, could've been. It kept bugging me.
So I wanted to ask if you'd allow me to write a fan fiction of your work Either must die. Au of the story, changing plot after harry marries Voldemort. Instead of spending a year locked in grimmauld and drinking and going around muggles. It would remain exactly the same upto the point, chapter where Voldemort becomes Mr. Potter. I don't mean I'll use those chapters. No they'll be the back story. And my fic will start after that. I'll obviously credit. And your fic:s knowledge will be needed to understand mine. It's a request. I really don't mean to offend. But I couldn't let it go.
Yes, of course you may write it, as long as you start from the marriage or whenever the fic diverges. Have fun with it! ❤️
