A scarf I am going to make for my mom :) She likes birds and the Myst game series (as do I, haha) so I used both! The symbol at the ends is the D’ni number 5 (which is on the cover of the Riven game). Planning on doing a DK for this ^-^

One of my oldest and closest friends has just begun a round of chemo, and knowing that she will inevitably lose her hair, has asked me to sew up some new, fancy headwear for her. Do any of you have or know of any relatively easy patterns you can recommend? I’m not a beginner sewer by any means, but I’m also far from being a pro. I just want something tried and true so she can wear whatever I make for her. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance!
