Some of my sprite sheets from Codename: WhoD'nit, a murder mystery visual novel set in the Myst/D'ni universe that Eric talked about during Cyan's State of the Union presentation last weekend! Fingers crossed we can revisit this someday, it was real dear to both Harrison and myself.

A lot of the appeal of this pitch was the idea of shifting, dynamic environments—vs. the more frozen worlds of previous Myst games—so a fair amount of our exploration was finding ways to pull that off with lighting, atmosphere, and some more... drastic measures.

SUCH a lifelong dream to get to work on a new game set in the Myst universe—still hope we’ll get to see it through someday, but I’m thrilled we can share the trailer at the very least. ♥️📖
