So I’ve long been curious about these vintage hat patterns. Today I finally picked up some cheap craft felt to try and see how one of the patterns works:

Trouble is, the magazine *only* shows the finished hat from the back.

This part looks ok.

Still not sure I did the corner-indentations correctly.

Doesn’t look totally awful, but is this how it’s supposed to look from the front? Who knows?

Cut some rosettes from the remaining fabric, they might make this look less like an ineffective sun visor made from felt.
