This has finally been delivered to its new owner, so I can post it on here.
When I made the first of these blankets, I really wasn't thinking about how it would become a thing. But here I am with blanket number 5? And I think it's officially a thing now. I also think I'm getting better at it.
As usual, this is about 1m square, that's 175 columns (though double knitting, so 350) and 262 rows.
The design for this one is based on the interests of my friends whose baby it's for, with the owl and the mouse added because I felt like. I started it in December and finished at the end of February, which is pretty quick. I think the owl is my favourite part.
If all goes well, I intend to release the Seashells legwarmers, my first ever knitting pattern on Ravelry on thursday. I am quite nervous. And excited.
Wow, didn’t realise I hadn’t posted an update on this in a while. Anyway, the colourwork is completed & I’ve put a lifeline in before I start the ribbing. I am sooo close…..
