Tarot deck: I dunno, there’s a strong possibility.

Me: thanks. Can I ask again?

Tarot deck: sure. There is an opportunity a possibility it might be.

Me: your not being helpful rn

Tarot deck: shrugging

Me: does Dream know if his tweet is directed at GeorgeNotFound?

Tarot deck: he’s figuring it out.

Me: …okay. *notices some flipped cards* what are those?

Tarot deck: Dream may or may not be processing it all himself.

Me: good enough, thank you.

Me, procrastinating homework: Give me a card!

My tarot deck: Five of Swords.

Me: What do you mean?

Deck: Nine of Wands.

Me: Fuck you I don't wanna do my homework!

Me(just had a brake-up): Give me a card that isn't about homework.

Deck: Death.

Me: This is why I'm getting two new decks you asshole!

Deck: Lovers and Ace of Swords.

I think it’s a good idea to outsource readings for yourself whenever you can. Because A, it’s good for the community. And B, yeah. You’re gonna be biassed about your own stuff. A good way to combat self bias is, you guessed it, a sassy deck.

Some decks are good for some things, others are good for others. Learning to read the vibe of your deck is Important as learning the cards.

And it’s not even that the cards will be different, but how you read them can be. Tarot cards are often open ended, and the meanings are squishy. And sometimes, if you’re really hoping for one kind of answer, you can squish the square peg in a round hole.

The deck arrived in a black mesh bag:

The bag actually feels way sturdier than I thought it would; I was expecting a pantyhose-like fishnet, but instead it feels more like a sturdy nylon. I plan on keeping the cards in it instead of switching them to a new bag like I thought I might.

The cards are bright and multicolored. They shuffle nicely, though the cardstock that they’re made of does feel a little soft and flimsy.

They’re GLORIOUSLY snarky. My review was going to be done here so that I could make dinner, but I realized partway through prep that I didn’t have a main ingredient. 

Hubs and I were debating what to do; he decided to just make some noodles. I was craving sushi, but trying to be financially responsible. Hubs finally suggests I just ask the new deck. So I do, only to reveal:

The sushi was fucking delicious.

I think this deck and I are going to get along just fine.

When you have a stalker card (Eight of Cups) and I ask why do I keep missing the message and it throws the Fool at me... okay sassy - dully noted!

Me: *interviews new deck I've made*

Deck: I'm going to confuse the shit out of you but we're in this for the long haul honey.
