I've had a very good day today. a shy dog at the office finally warmed up to me, I found an excellent and inexpensive dupe for my face cream, I made it to the final shortlist of people who are the most likely to get a raise, my colleagues have been saying the nicest things about me - both to my face and behind my back.. :'D

There are days I think I never learn.
Then I see a post on my dashboard where someone is ranting about some point in Downton Abbey that completely ignores the point of the show, how film production works, the fact that the characters aren't dead yet, etc. and I have the impulse to point all of this out, but then I go "Wait. We have done this before. These people do not care and will not listen, they just want to be all Indignant and Ranty. You will be wasting your time."
And I don't do it.
And I realize...yeah, okay. Occasionally I do learn.
