@zuppizup and @jellyjay talked about the potential chaos of nursery rhymes in this post here and so I decided to doodle it (and take some creative liberties)

Some doodles for my story, A Journey To The Past which is just an Anastasia AU with Rayla and Callum’s daughter.
How I’d imagine Sara to look like in the show (she’d be 18 here)
I’ve been messing with her design a lot since writing the Anastasia AU and it’s starting to get pretty narrowed down. I feel like her hair could be a little looser, but I’m not exactly comfortable drawing in the TDP style so the hair is already stretching it enough as is haha. Not to mention I didn’t want to bother with drawing a shiny locket around her neck so I just decided she “has it in her pocket” in this screen cap.

CHAPTER 3
Preview:Â
She looked to find Jaron looking carefully at her. There was something behind his eyes that made Sara want to search them and find what was hiding. But as she did, they softened, and he smiled gently.
“Saraiah,” he said, barely above a whisper.
Saraiah? Something deep within Sara felt like it was waking up. As if that name, and the way it fell from his lips, held everything.Â
“Her name was Saraiah,” he repeated, carefully letting go of her hood.
She never knew the princess’ name; it was never shared after her tragic disappearance. While some knew it, uttering it was all but considered taboo. She always wondered if it held some kind of power over people, some kind of magic that would enchant whoever heard it. Perhaps she was right because here she was, hearing it for the first time, and it seemed like the world around her disappeared.
It felt magical.

Sorry this sounds super dumb but I have trouble picking up on things. If the lost princess and Sara have the same name then why hasn’t she put together the idea that she could be the lost princess? Or how did that work?
Not a dumb question at all! Curiosity is always welcome. The princess’ name was “Saraiah” not “Sara” so they just think it’s a similar name. More on that as the updates come! But I don’t want to spoil too much. :)
