SAN FRANCISCO — A person was missing and 17 others were rescued Tuesday after a fire on a pontoon boat off the coast of San Francisco, authorities said. San Francisco Fire Lt. Just visited Alcatraz — very disquieting, although the extent of the attention and respect paid to the 1969 American Indian occupation and its legacy was very heartening.
