Rushe is my favorite child character in Inazuma Eleven so I've been thinking about her character and her role in the Inazuma Eleven actor AU. And I've come up with a few headcanons. Also, I'll be using some of @mistressmiska's headcanons, particularly those about Kageyama and Yuuka. I hope you don't mind.
Rie is part Japanese, part Italian. She is also Hiroshi's half sister on their mother's side.
They come from a broken home. Rie was born from infidelity and her stepfather (Hiroshi's father) didn't take that well.
Their parents got divorced within a year because of that and their mother hated the Rie for "ruining her life".
Hiroshi's, who was only seven back then, absolutely adored his little sister and pretty much raised her himself.
Their mother flat out refused to provide for her daughter, which is why Hiroshi's had to look for a job so he could pay for her expenses himself. That's how he got into acting at seven and a half.
Hiroshi had a rough start, but as soon as he got some semblance of stability, he took Rie and moved out. Rie was three and Hiroshi was nine back then.
Throughout this time, Hiroshi was always concerned about leaving Rie alone. He was afraid that their mother would somehow track them down and ruin their lives again, because she's the embodiment of "if I can't be happy, no one can."
Rushe was Rie's first role, which she got by accident. Hiroshi was trying out for Fidio's role and had to take the ten year old with him because he didn't want to leave her alone. She ended up trying out a few dialogues and the filming crew decided to give her the role.
Rie has to wear green contacts to change her eye color. Her natural eye color is deep blue, but she says she likes green eyes better.
Because of the life he led, Hiroshi doesn't trust adults easily, so working with Kageyama's actor was hard for him, especially because Kyusaku is so good at playing the bad guy.
Rie, on the other hand, doesn't really remember her parents, so it's easier for her to become friends with him. And because of Masako, Kyusaku is very good with little kids. This helps Hiroshi slowly warm up to him.
Of course, Kyusaku knows that something's up with these kids, especially Hiroshi given the way he acted. He tries not to pry too much out of fear of pushing him away, but it's really hard to not ask.
Hiroshi slowly opens up to him though, because he's stressed from everything that's happened to him. Eventually, they end up becoming really close.
One time, Hiroshi is so tired after shooting, that he accidentally calls Kyusaku "Dad" in front of everyone without noticing. The adults, who either know or suspect the truth, tell the kids to not mention that in front of him. It's hard to convince Rie to do that because she vehemently agrees that Kyusaku is like a dad to them. Somehow, they manage.
Kyusaku isn't sure how it happened, but by the end of the series, he somehow has two adopted children.
Rie was supposed to reappear in GO Galaxy as a teenager, but it was cut out because Rie had too many projects to shoot enough.
In an interview, Rie reveals that she wanted to dye her hair pink like Masako did for her cameo in GO, but she was in the middle of filming for other shows so she couldn't.
Somehow, this ended up becoming more about Fidio and Kageyama then Rushe. Oh well, I tried.
