“When’s your date of birth?” Jasper asked.

“You know when my birthday is,” Bellamy said. Both of his hands were occupied, one attached to a probably-broken wrist, the other carefully holding the aforementioned wrist, so Jasper was filling out the hospital intake form.

“Yea but what year?1980?” he joked.

“That would make me 40,” Bellamy said

My sister sprung going out to eat on me, so sorry this is so late :). Also, I know shit about anything to do with medieval so I’m gonna wing this 

Bellarke + Medieval au

Bellamy’s a knight to Lord Griffin and is one of the family’s best knights - becoming the youngest person to be knighted in Arkadia’s history while Clarke is the Lord’s daughter. (”Forbidden” love - am I right?)

Clarke never asked to be royalty and being shoved into all these damn corsets and uncomfortable dresses. She hates them, but not as much as she hates Jester Collins - really she wants to punch him in his face but because that’s not “lady-like” she hasn’t. yet anyway. 

She’s a bit reckless, for a princess. She sneaks out, mostly anytime she can to get away from the Castle and the suffocating rules of her parents. Of course, she gets caught one day when she’s not being the most careful. She knows that tensions are rising between Arkadia and Polis from eavesdropping on her father’s meetings but she feels too trapped in the stone walls to care much about the possibility of her being kidnapped and used for leverage. 

Jake decides to appoint her a personal guard for her safety and Clarke hates being babysat and she doesn’t stop the curse or the eye roll when she her personal guard is none other than Bellamy Blake - the most pompous and arrogant guard she’s ever met. 

Though having a personal guard doesn’t stop Clarke from trying to sneak out; but Bellamy is somehow always one step ahead of her and it just steams her desire to finally be able to out wit him. 

+Bonus: Of course, it gets to a point where Bellamy finally cavesbecause he sees how unhappy she is constantly being coped up like a prisoner, so he lets her go into the Kingdom but he always goes with her and he makes sure they’re dressed like peasants instead of a princess and knight  and they never go leave the castle grounds through the main gate - just in case Polis spies are watching. 

+Extra Bonus: their first kiss is in a hidden alcove in one of the tallest towers 

And all of my knowledge of pirates comes from Curse of the Black Pearl and Dead Men Tell No Tales so this is me winging it too. 

Sizzy + pirates 

Simon’s a part of Captain Bane’s crew and honestly he’s not completely sure how it happened but he’s just kinda going with it? Because like his mother kicked him out and he really had no where to go and so far it’s been fun - the risk, the adventure is something he finds he enjoys. 

Isabelle’s parents and extended family hate pirates (probably because they themselves were betrayed by a Captain Morgenstern once upon a time) and she’s always grown up believing that pirates are off-limits and can’t be trusted. But she’s also always been drawn to and intrigued by things her parents disprove of. 

That intrigue escalates when Simon saves her life when she’s running from said Captain Morgenstern’s crew when they try to kidnap her. Of course, her father locks him up when he finds out Simon’s a pirate. 

Izzy being Izzy, sneaks into holding to see Simon on the days leading up to his execution and agrees to help him escape. “Why are you doing this?” “You saved my life, I’m just returning the favor.” “Didn’t your parents warn you about pirates?” “Yes, but my parents got involved with pirates themselves, so it’s hypocritical for them to tell me not to.” 

Izzy ends up on their ship and trust into the pirates lifestyle. And she comes to realize that she loves it? Being free and out on the open sea all the time. Besides, she loves adventure and risk taking

+Bonus: It doesn’t hurt that Izzy knows her way around a ship and may even be a better sailor than most of the pirates on the Chairmen Meow 

I think I like the bellarke one more than the sizzy one lmao
