But the reality is that one would have to be an utter idiot to marry one of the Folk. There are perhaps a handful of stories in which such a union ends well and a mountain of them in which it ends in madness or an untimely and unpleasant death. I am also, of course, constantly aware of the ridiculousness of my being the object of a marriage offering by a faerie monarch.

They fall out straight away when Merlin doesn’t take too kindly to the way Arthur is treating a servant. Arthur tends to use brute force and ignorance to get what he wants. His privileged upbringing has an effect on his personality. When you grow up with people deferring to you it has an impact on the way you behave. But Merlin is a catalyst for a change in his behaviour. He sees in Merlin a lot more than he judges at first and it helps him realise the kind of man he could become.  -  Bradley James

Does a heart motivated by passions and the desire to help others make it weak? Is it wrong and evil to be weak? friendly reminder, the way Sauron deceived Boromir was not by promising him wealth, nor power, nor his own safety- he thought he would be strong enough to defend a whole city and defeat Sauron. Boromir had a heart that was neither weak nor strong, but both at the same time- his heart was full.
