#rough ideas

And I'll share what the idea is in the near future, I just wanna finish this first

Here’s a rough idea of how we get there and then a scene written for someplace towards the end of the story. I don’t think this specific scene will make it into the story, but some iteration or very end into it may

1. Stan gets out of his mess with Rico. There’s a few ways this could happen I’m not totally on board with any of them. Might write a few of them and see where we land.

Some ideas for this are:

Stan strikes up a deal with rico not sure how yet?

Ford intervenes (most likely to happen)

A lucky break for Stan. (Cops either show up and offer Stan an easy escape or a rival cartel/gang does)

Either way this ends with Stan being a man free from rico and his under world.

2. The physical and emotional impact of this ordeal for both Stan and Ford.

Stan is legit a dead man waking with his chronic infection and the trauma of his grifting over the last almost decade.

Ford is dealing with his guilt and being overbearing because of it. The relationship between the two brothers is severely strained at this point.

Stan spend some time in the hospital physically recovering recovering then we move onto our next story point.

3. Ford brings Stan home to gravity Falls.

Things are not the fairytale ending that they would like. Their relationship is extremely strained. Stan is using both healthy and unhealthy coping mechanism at this point . Ford is either in denial of the unhealthy coping mechanisms or just extremely oblivious. I personally think he’s in denial because to him “the scary part is over” that his presence and a stable safe and environment for Stan is a solution to all stans issues and not just a space to allow him to begin processing much deeper psychological problems and allowing him to heal . When Ford finally does get his head out of his ass and realize that Stan is not coping very well. The two of them are walking on eggshells around each other. There are happy moments, but they are ultimately overshadowed by the tenseness of the brothers relationship.

4. The final bit of the story.

In the final stretch of the story stan ultimately comes to the conclusion that for the first time in almost a decade, Stanley Pines is allowed to be Stanley Pines again. He needs to stand on his own to feet. He appreciates the opportunity Ford gave him with allowing him to stay at his house and comes to the conclusion that he needs to leave. Ford is very against this idea, and it does not want to stan to be back out there on his own. You would think it would be for Stan’s benefit, but in reality it is because Ford is anxious about not being able to see Stan or something along these lines.

The scene below is just a quick idea. It was written on my phone at 3 AM last night. I’ve always had an idea where I wanted to go I just have not been able to visualize it so this was me trying to do that. This arc that is being “displayed” (I don’t think that’s the word I’m looking for. I’m tired and sick and not thinking much harder than I have to.) below will be more flushed out and have better context once I have written the things that come before it I do not believe that this scene will make it into the final story, but some iteration of it will.

"Stanley, are you sure about this?" Ford's voice was low, edged with a familiar strain. "You don't have to leave. You know... we could still do it. Our dream. We could finish the boat. We could set out on the ocean, just the two of us. Like we always planned."

The words hung in the air, a ghost of a shared past. Stanley felt a pang in his chest. It was a beautiful offer, a chance at the fairy tale they both craved. But he knew, with a painful certainty, that it was a dream for the boys they used to be, not the men they had become.

"I can't, Ford," Stanley said, his voice soft but firm. "This was your dream, too. The real one. One with journals, big discoveries, and the research. Live this dream, Sixer. Don't worry about me."

Ford's expression softened, a look of profound sadness replacing his frustration. "I just… I can’t help but think of what happened last time you were out on your own. It was a disaster." The words hit Stanley like a physical blow, a reminder of the frantic call from a Texas truck.

"I'm not on my own anymore, Poindexter. I've got you. I've got a whole family who I'm a phone call away from now. That's the difference," Stanley said, his voice thick with emotion. This was the first time since he was a teenager that he was just Stanley Pines. No Andrew Alcatraz. No Steve Pinefield (another alias here) Just Stan. And there was a future for that guy now. "We're not going back to being strangers."

Ford took a step forward, his hand hovering, wanting to touch his brother but holding back, respecting the space between them. "I know, Stanley. Just... be safe."

Stanley nodded, his eyes welling up. The bitterness was still there—the thought that after all these years and all that trauma, a perfect, storybook ending wasn't in the cards for them. But there was also a fragile sense of hope, a belief that this was the right choice. Stan picked up his bag, gave a final, watery smile, and started down the path.

Being blessed with a child of the force is a huge blessing for the Jedi. It’s only happened twice in the Jedis existence.

Obi-wan thought he simply had a stomach bug.

Obi-wan is trained by Count Dooku

Dooku is very proud of his padawan even in his current state.

Obiwan seeks Anakin out to ask for help. Baby care he knows he can do. But a baby from the force and what made a good mother? No idea

Anakin and Obi-wan know eachother in passing. Like “I know your name and that you are missing an arm..” “hey!….i have a cool robotic arm now.” “Well…that’s true.”

Anakin is worried for a moment, did he somehow knock up Obiwan? The force was weird like that! Then again if he was doing it then everyone with a womb around him would be pregnant.

No Anakin didn’t non con him. Hardly knows obi

Starts helping Obi-wan with basic mom duties

Padme gets a bit jealous. Talks with Anakin about it

Break up on good terms?

Obi-wan wants to just hang out with Anakin

Dooku gets mad and thinks Anakin impregnated his beloved Padawan

Quigs watches while drinking his blue milk shake

Obi stops Dooku and admits it was the force and has to go to the Jedi council

#11 summer 2022

I have been making plates with my students. I try to explain about the way our fingers touch clay. I aim to touch just right, to create expressive  edges. I am letting the past inform what I make for the future, leaving fingerprints like fossils left behind by the sea.

There’s a soft spot in everything Our fingers touch,                                 the one place where everything breaks When we press it just right. The past is like that with its arduous edges and blind sides, The whorls of our fingerprints                                                                                                                            embedded along its walls Like fossils the sea has left behind.

Other ideas I had for recurring superhero characters:

Quick low effort comic for a future chapter scene in “Hollowed Defiance”. You still have connection ports Commander, they’re just different. And the suit still sucks.
