a/n: it's not a COMPLETE thought...i literally just spilled this idea to my homegirl like 30 minutes ago- i might come back and make it a little longer...without further ado!

A leaking tap had been pissing you off for the last two weeks. Just knowing it would be running up you water bill, you did what you did best, called your down the hall neighbor Frank.

You didn't really know what he did for a living, you didn't know much about him, except he knew how to fix things around the house and you didn't have to pay your shitty ass landlord an arm and a leg. Not to mention he was hot. It was a win-win.

“How much I owe ya Frank?” you asked, handing him a cold beer out the fridge. This wasn’t the first or even the second time Frank fixed something in your apartment for you without charging you.

Then came that look. His classic, 'you’re being ridiculous' look that had softened into something almost tender.

"Sweetheart," he said, not sternly, just gently firm, the way someone says "please don't fight me on this". "You know I don’t believe in making pretty girls pay."

He lifted the beer slightly in salute before taking another sip. Like this was enough: standing in your kitchen on a sunny afternoon… fixing things for free… drinking cold beer together.

“C’mon Frank...you know I don’t like feeling like a leech.” you groaned.

You were always a self-sufficient woman. Never needed anyone to do anything. You probably could’ve watched a youtube video or two and learned how to fix your drain. But having Frank was nice.

“How about this…” you said padding over your kitchen tiles to where he stood.

“We can work something out…” you smiled, one that promised you were completely up to no good.

“We can come up with an arrangement…I exchange your time and services. For mine.” you had said, now brushed up against the front of him.

“Receiving is nice from time to time…But I am truly a giver in nature Frank.” your voice barely above a whisper as your lips curled around the shell of his right ear.

“And since you won’t take monetary payments from me…”
